iPhone Problem

    Hey Petro

    While reading the board on iPhone, I see an add multiple times and when I click on it, it takes me to the Apple Store.

    Is this thing helping the board make money or is it a virus on the board again?

    Today it showed Candy Crush Saga. When I clicked on the ad and it took me to Apple Store so that I could download it on my phone.

    The add covers entire screen and at the top of the add, there is a tiny note allowing you to close the ad

    getting this on my android also. thought it was just meuntil i saw this thread. alot of candy crush ads

    Well, it's definitely not a virus. If this was a virus, you'd get instantly redirected without the "continue to the site" option.

    Do you get it only on the board's landing page or inside threads as well?

    Ok, I just tried it on an iPhone emulator and saw the Candy Crush Saga ad quite a few times. So, I removed one of the ads.... let me know if you still experience this problem.

    So far so good Petro. Didn't happen to me the last few hours. I will post if it happens again.

    Also this happened mostly when Inwas navigating in the threads.

    So, I know which ad was causing it. I just added it back.... let's see if it does the same thing today.

    I also got Orbitz. But now I am navigating and nothing for the last 3 minutes. Typically I would have seen at least 3-4 by now.

    I asked the advertiser to remove all such ads. Hopefully, they will fix this problem.

    I won't mind 1 or 2 times a day but 4-5 times every 5 minutes is way too much.

    Appreciate all you do for this board.

    Sorry to bug you again. Again, while browsing the board on my iPhone, I have been directed to the App Store to download Candy Crush Saga. Just wanted to let you know.
