where he plays is irrelevant, he's going to be a situational pass rusher. I'm sure he'll line up w/ his hand in the turf when they go 4 man front or he could rush standing up but he's here to rush the passer and not for anything else.

I love when we play like that! CLOCK KILLERS! All those good QB's we play weeks 2-7 cant beat us from the bench ! "Ground n Pound Baby" !

But on a babin note he can probably even sub in for sheldon on 3rd & longs if Sheldon's pass rush doesn't improve this year, or just rotate with the OLB's , him & Coples pass rushing is going to be really hard to stop

I like the RBs we have now versus '09 and '10, we could only wish for the run blocking our Oline provided during those 2 years.

Sheldon is Jerome Bettis 2.0 on the goalline. Nice depth with Babin so he can get some rest. On the goalline he is a sure thing. While some ppl don't like that, I do. He's a professional football player, I'm not worried about him getting hit on the goalline. That's his job. If he gives us the best chance to score on the goalline, than punch that BIG mother in.

True (I liked '09 & '10 running backs, I really like the group we have now too, it's a no brainer, run the football and kill with PA pass). I think Geno is better than Sandy though. We probably, run a lot more misdirections and PA bootlegs with the run as a primary option. Just get down Geno!! and tuck the football away!

Does this mean they'll miss the first 6 or so weeks of the regular season? I can't remember

No, it just means they aren't healthy enough to participate in camp yet.

They're on the preseason PUP, they can be activated any time. The 6 game thing is for the regular season PUP. This is basically so they can bring players in to use those roster spots, assumed to be temporarily.

I like it. You can never have enough pass rushers.
