You could have said that for either team in the finals.

    ^Haha, beat ya to it.

Totally. The Argentinians have a history of attempted world conquest and mass genocide and have directly caused 2 world wars.

Who paid off the refs by the way? There were some blatant no calls in that game that could have changed the outcome.

About 9000 Nazi's fled to South America after the war. Most of them went to Argentina where they were welcomed by Peron's govt because he thought they could help Argentina emerge as a world power in the next global conflict. Of all Nazi's still alive today there's undoubtedly more living in Argentina and the rest of South America than in Germany. So yea, either way with this WC the Nazis were gonna win!

Got bored yesterday and wondered what it would be like for Mike Emrick to call soccer.

Then this happened. Hope you guys find it as amusing as I do!

What about the Nazis that live in hollow earth? And don't forget the ones on the moon. People think that full moon is nice, but have no idea about the animosity it represents.

Moon Nazis are the most evil. The radiation from the sun has mutated them into Nazi aliens.

How great was The Boy's From Brazil?

Favorite line, delivered as only Sir Laurence Olivier could:

Ezra Lieberman: You're not a guard now, madame! You are a prisoner! I may leave here today empty handed. But you... are not going anywhere.

The look of despair on Uta Hagen's face with that pronouncement is classic.

Ahh, you know about the moon, do you? All the bases on the fringe and other side...
No one asks why the US hasn't returned to the moon since 1969. Some people know exactly why - Neil Armstrong alluded to this in his interviews.

And surprise surprise Fifa moved World cup date for qatar to nov and dec.Understand most of you wont be to stressed but all the european leagues will be stuffed and the A league here in Australia. Will be intresting how it effects a few small sports in the USA like nfl and nba and their tv coverage :)

I was truly looking forward to this world cup. By the time the games start I will be 44 years old and my boys will be 16 years old. This World Cup would require least travel to see as many games as possible. So it would be an awesome trip with my boys. But now Blatter fucked this up. Due to my boys' school, I won't be able to take them. And most likely I won't go either.

First game is on Saturday, November 19.

Final is on Sunday, December 18
