The Bulls are under pressure because if Rose healthy, they probably have the best team in the East. Obviously if he gets injured the pressures off.

As for the Spurs, I cant think of another team that is under more pressure. I guess I should have put the Rockets in front of them, but they will have pressure on them to repeat. It wont compare though to the amount of pressure the Thunder will be under, or the Bulls will have if Rose is healthy. I think the Cavaliers get a one year break, it seems like all the hatred toward Lebron is gone, so I think if the Cavaliers do lose along the way, we wont see a media shitstorm. If the Thunder lose, I do not see how Scott Brooks survives. I just dont.

But they lost Parsons, Lin, and Asik. I know nothing scary, but still their depth, and chemistry has to take a hit.

Interesting, I think Bulls are kind of already viewed as if their star stayed healthy team. They really have low expectations and no pressure as a team because well their star player cannot stay on the court. More pressure is on Rose to see if he can play a full season, but as a team, I don't think Chicago will have the championship or bust mentality to need to.

The Spurs won last year. They could get bounced 1st round this year and it won't matter. This last title didn't even matter in the whole scheme of things for Duncan either, his legacy is cemented too. I mean I guess it could be a pride thing for SA since they've never won back to back finals, but I don't think it's pressure to win either.

Well im not sure how much pressure is on the Spurs, but after you get passed the: (Thunder, Bulls, Clippers, Pacers Cavaliers, Rockets). Whos under more pressure to win the title? Are the Wizards? are the Blazers? The Spurs do carry some pressure because they know that if they play to their potential, they will win the whole thing again. I dont think in anyones mind, the Wizards or the Blazers are going to win the whole thing next year.

Five million for Birdman is ridiculous. He could barely move in the finals. It looks like the Heat are looking at the summer of 2016 to make a splash.

LOL its cuz Pat Riley doesnt care. Hes bouncing soon, he knows that they wont win another title under his reign. Its so hard to win in the NBA and he has won 3x as the GM. So hes gone next year.

Hopefully the Cavs have a disaster season, Lebron opts out and takes his talents to NYC. A man can dream, can't he?

    LOL

I wish, but he's retiring in Cleveland. Like he said, this is more than basketball. He won't do that to Cleveland again. His career began there and will end there.

Honestly I think LeBron just did that two-year deal so he could get a true max contract at the end of this season. But he'd better sign that max extension two seconds after opting out or he's really going to be looked at in a bad light again.

That's pretty much what everyone is speculating will happen.

He cannot leave Cleveland again--that would be a geometric annihilation of all the goodwill he's bought with this move.

Of course. Lebron will retire in Cleveland.

There is no way Cleveland gives him that deal without knowing for sure that he will sign an extension. He's not going anywhere. Like he said, "this is more than basketball".

Some people in the media are absoulute fools. Lebron didnt go back to Cleveland to go "home". He went their because they had the best roster for him (the Rockets may have had better). We arent even have this discussion right now if the Cavaliers didnt land a top 3 pick or if the Heat didnt get dismantled in the finals. That #1 draft pick the Cavaliers received was the best possible thing they could have gotten. Lebron knows that if Wiggins becomes what many think he can become, they have a legit big 3 in Cleveland, along with other solid players around the team, all of which are young.

Like I said, the Heat had the absolute worst situation come upon them, while the Cavaliers had the absolute best possible situation. Combine those two, and Lebron had to make a decision. If either dont happen, there is no decision.

Agreed, but this feel good story has covered that . Everything had to go right for Cleveland and wrong for Miami, fortunately for Cleveland everything went their way. If LeBron had gone to Houston , Chicago, or Pheonix he would be getting killed right now, but he went home.
