Bills Simmons was talking about Cleanthony Early all night, looks like like Knicks drafted him.

Cleanthony Early was the one guy I WANTED REAL BAD...His game against Kentucky in the tournament was unreal. Dude played like a franchise player for them. I really hope he has a chip on his shoulders, because when he plays angry dude is a fucking boss

Just the 4th quarter was Early time

    http://nypost.com/2014/06/26/with-phils-first-pick-knicks-grab-wichita-states-cleanthony-early/

The Bronx-born senior averaged 16.3 points per game in 27 minutes and was a high-energy scorer who led Wichita State to two straight NCAA Tournament appearances, including a Final Four berth two years ago and an unbeaten season in 2013-14. Early played at Pine Bush High in Orange County.

Early moved upstate at age 14 after being raised in The Bronx and has an eerie similarity to Carmelo Anthony in body type and scoring prowess.

“I’m a New York kid,’’ he told The Post’s Steve Serby in March. “I grew up in The Bronx. I’ve been in Brooklyn, I’ve been in Queens, I’ve played basketball a lot of places in New York. It’s pretty much the same, it’s that gritty attitude, that New York City swag.’’

Gotta love when they do "draft grades" the day after the draft. How the hell would they know how a player is going to turn out. Maybe the ones doing the "draft grades" should get graded on their evaluations in 5 years and see how right/wrong they were.

Lakers to go all out for Lebron and Carmelo. They have enough room to get both if both take less. I doubt this works, perhaps Carmelo but no way to Lebron James.

They should have never gave Kobe that contract because right now they could have offered both Lebron and Melo max contracts.

Didn't you just tell me a month ago that this was an impossibility?

At max contracts its impossible. If Lebron and Melo take less it can be done. Hell the Knicks could sign Mel and Lebron but it would require em to take significantly less.

There's still a possibility Melo stays in NY. Melo will be visiting Bulls, Lakers, Rockets, Mavs in addition to the Knicks. Phil is willing to give Melo the max.

I think the Bulls still get Melo in the end. Better HC / FO (even though the FO is cheap at times). Pair Rose up with Melo, Butler, Gibson and Noah and you got yourself one hell of a team.

Houston can chase him if they can get rid of Lin. I still think there is a possibility we see a Lin+Draft picks for Melo. Lin only has one year left, they can get teams to trade if they give em draft picks.

I see no way the Knicks take Lin back in a trade. If they want to accelerate the rebuilding process they could go to the Bulls, acquire Boozer (exp contract), and picks. To me that's a better offer easily. Lin has 2 years 16+ left.

O I thought it was one, if that's true, forget it abspolutely. Knicks can take expiring contracts cuz they are stuck wit Andrea and Am are for another year.

This is getting ridiculous. What's next Soxxx? Lebron might come to Milwaukee!?

I mean he could play with Parker! And he could get a max contract! /sarcasm

Heat have said numerous times that Norris Cole is "very available" in trade talks.

Supposedly lowry is likely to be sent to Miami, and wade and bosh will opt out. Source: Playerline.
