I've said it a million times on here, and I'm only on my phone right now at work, so too much to text out. I do root for GB though. I go to one game a year most years. I just love the jets 100x more.

Knicks send Chandler, Felton to Dallas for Calderon, Larkin, Dalembert, Ellington and No. 34 and 51, sources told ESPN. Deal is done.

The Calderon pick up is AWESOME offensively, but again, a guy who has close to terrible defense. Hope he can work on that. Guy can shoot like no body's business though.

Overall, very happy with this move.

New Orleans will send a future first-round pick to Houston for Asik, league source tells Yahoo Sports. Deal will give Rockets cap space.

For the Rockets, this is Step 1 in clearing the cap space to chase LeBron James or Carmelo Anthony in free agency.

    Here come the Rockets.

And Melo if the speculation is true...

Speculation says they have Lin suitors lined up, would sign one of Lebron or Melo, then try to sell the remaining team on a Harden sign and trade for the other star....

Sounds ridiculous, but once you get one of them, the other one is a definite possibility. Melo more so than Lebron probably

I think you mixed some Clippers players in there haha

The real speculation: Asik move clears space to make a run at Lebron or Melo if they get an acceptance from them. Then they would deal Lin and could sign one of those stars outright.

The fantasy speculation: After signing one of those superstars, they would offer Harden in a sign and trade to the Heat or Knicks so instead of their star walking, they could get Harden back in return instead of nothing.

    Lmao!!

I just noticed that. I've been reading back and forth about the Rockets and Clippers a lot lately haha

I can see that though. Harden in New York would be nice.

Lebron did meet with Wade and Bosh today. They were spotted at a local restaurant in Miami. Should be interesting to see what they do in the next upcoming days. The window is closing for Bosh and Wade to opt out.

If Melo really intends to leave, the Knicks should at least see if they can get picks for him. I would speculate that they would be willing to take Asik+A ransom of draft picks

Asik only has one year left, the Knicks cant do much until Amare and Andreas contracts come off next year anyway so if they do pickup Lin or Asik, its not for a long term plan. It would be for the draft picks.

Alright I still think this Harden-Carmelo thing is at play here to, the Rockets definitely can go after Lebron if they move Asik.

Rockets can use the Pelicans draft pick+other draft picks and tie it to Lin and send him packing. Some team will bite, its only a one year deal with Lin, but the reward is the draft picks. (It could be the Knicks).

Im not sure where the Melo-Harden deal is at currently but this trade could be going down.

So basically they could sign either Melo/James once they move Lin? Honestly if you could sign James why even bother with Melo? That team would be fucking loaded anyway. Howard/Parsons/Dwight/James.... yikes.

The plan would be to trade Harden for Carmelo straight up. The Knicks have little leverage at this point, I think it would a smart move to get Harden in for 4 years. He is a solid piece, they still would need more but he is locked in for 4 years. Next offseason go after Kevin Love or Lamarcus Aldridge. If that fails, ya go for Durant the next year.

Miamis has suddenly become an afterthought, the rosters dont even compare. Houston is better, younger, and has players at positions that will take a lot of work off of Lebron. (Particularly the rebounding)

It's a good move for the Knicks esp if you know you aren't going to get Melo back.

And ya think with the Rockets forming, the Thunder wont get anywhere. The Knicks would have a real shot to pull Durant into NYC. The Knicks have Fisher as the headcoach, pull in Harden and you have two guys that might sway him.

Plus I still think they could go after Marc Gasol next year who is a pretty good center

Certainly, they will have a ton to spend next offseason if they so choose
