He apparently said it in a "playful" manner but its good news and should scare teams that want to trade for him. Imagine if the Warriors cave in and then he doesnt re-sign with them? (I guess he would need to sign before he gets traded....?)

Its why its important Mills gets resigned, I have felt strongly about him since he came to San Antonio. I honestly feel like he could be our starting PG after Parker. I would love for Parker to stay a Spur for the rest of his career (he is my most favorite player, does not get enough credit ever) but he seems like a guy that wouldnt have an issue moving on to another team (especially if Duncan, Ginobli, Pop all exit). He was on the trade block a couple years go, actually to go to NY.

It would be a sign and trade unless GS wants K Love for only a year. Then they would give up a lot lot less. That's why the player kind of controls where they go, they need to agree to sign on for the multiple years for the trade to go through. I think that's why the Dwight Howard thing was new. The Lakers made the trade thinking that with a year they could convince Dwight to resign, and they could not

I think the Warriors have to pull the trigger if they can. They are no mans land where they are good enough to make the playoffs, but not good enough to win the whole things. Franchises can get stuck in this position for a very long time, it fills the seats because they are playing quality basketball but its not going to win you a championship. Im not sure if Love would be enough to get them over the hump but its worth a shot I suppose (its not like they are going to win the West with what they have now)

You pull the trigger if he signs long term. You don't if he doesn't because the risk is too large. You just wait until the next year. David Lee becomes an expiring contract then and you hope Barnes and Klay take another step forward.

I'm anxious to see if LeBron moves on and signs with the Rockets. That would be epic. I just can't get over the potential roster of Howard, Harden, and James. The scoring of James and Harden would be unreal. Having Howard in the middle will be a dream come true for LeBron.

Another easy out for a championship for the guy instead of grinding

I know right. Let me pick the best possible situation and then complain when things go south. Of course he hasn't done it yet but we will see

Rose apparently doesnt want Melo, wants the Bulls to make trade for Love.

Rose should honestly be concerned about himself, im really tired of this guy TBH. Let the GM make the moves.

Duncans decision due by the 24th, I assume it will either come today or early tomorrow? I dont know when exactly it needs to be known.

If this is true then it means he is taking less so the Spurs can bring back Diaw and Mills. It would have been hard to keep both, props to Tim if he does.

Rose takes a large volume of shots. I don't think he's an efficient player at all. Melo on the Bulls would make him the go to guy and I don't think Rose wants to be shown up in his own city.

i can admit he is a all time great ( im not gonna number him ) but I'm sorry the way this team was built was so UNSPORTSMANLIKE it's not even funny you think the greats of Jordan Bird and Magic wanted to be on each others team NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO they wanted to fucking kick their ass out of the playoffs They played together in the Olympics that was enough

I know. Two completely different times.

Isiah Thomas and Magic were best friends off the court. After the one year in the conference finals when Magic took down Isiah intentionally, it all went to hell. They lost their entire friendship over that series. Sad to hear but it was true.

Different eras, different players. Now everyone wants to have a group hug and join a team together. I gotta say, I am too young to have watched the greats like Magic and Byrd, but damn, watching those games now puts basketball in an entirely new perspective.
