I guess I'm in the majority, I was going to go with Kerley on O and Shelly on D. Kerley is that guy like Chrebet or Cotch that makes the tough catches, fights for the extra yard, doesn't complain when things go wrong and doesn't need to pound his chest when he makes a play (yes, I'm looking at you, Holmes...). He's the quintessential team player. It's hard not to root for a guy like that. As far as Richardson I like him for the same reasons that have already been noted. The guy came out of the gate with the swagger of a young Mike Tyson and so far he's backing up all of his talk. You gotta love a having a beast on the D line that won't accept anything less than being the best player in the league.
Rex Ryan/Wilkerson is the only young talent that is elite and i want locked up for whatever it takes(++S.Richardson).
For all those saying Rex, you're going to be disappointed when he is let go after this season. My favorite is Nick Mangold, but if Jace Amaro is as good as I predict, he will quickly become my guy. Surprises all those Geno suck-ups aren't coming out of the closet.
Sheldon Richardson ... he's a straight beast. If we hit on Pryor the defense could be very good for years to come worth these two.
If jace looks good this season than the offense will probably be doing pretty good which will make your prediction about rex wrong. as far as "geno suck ups" you will probably not find many. Only idiots proclaim a guy great or a bust 5 minutes after they are drafted. nice avatar btw,how long have you had that one?
I'm sure it will be Pryor for me. I think if you've played the same position you kind of have a leaning there. I also love Bilal Powell as well, dude is a lot better then he gets credit for. No doubt he'll be cut/released and the Pats turn him into gold.
I seem to remember that avvy going up just as Geno drew back his arm on his first ever throw in a Jets uni.
As many here have already said, Wilkerson on D and Kerley on O. Hopefully a big year out of Decker and I may change my tune on fav offensive player. However, Kerley's just a pro. Doesn't talk, just goes out there and produces.
