UVa was a big time program back then, that is a good foursome. when he was hired and brought in a new staff including getting rid of longtime office staff that upset a lot of people connected w/ UNC and when you don't win right away it makes it difficult. if he hadn't overhauled the staff I think he would have gotten more time.
unless they can change the one and done rule it will keep happening. I don't blame the players, they have a chance to get a jumpstart on their careers and make a lot of money. It sucks for CBB and also for the NBA.
They have to fix it by removing the rule entirely or by making the students get a degree whether it be associates or bachelors. Require at least an associates degree to apply to an NBA job, that will force em to stay two years in college. If they can't get an education then go play overseas for a year or two.

Never happen..... the rule either needs to be removed or the NBA should develop a real minor league. No reason the NBADL is a joke. Get these teams out of places like Maine and South Dakota and put them in places like Albuquerque, Las Vegas, El Paso, Monmouth/Ocean NJ, places that will support their teams but the NBA takes teh easy way out and let's these colleges develop their players and they don't have to spend a dime.

I believe bad things, I don't believe this. McCants was crazy while playing and he has blamed everyone for his failures. The man is an NBA all star talent and can't get a sniff in the league, he's angry at the world. always has been. Until there is any proof(unlike the accusations in the media the last year or so where there hasn't been proof) or other players step forward and say the same things I won't believe it.
