I think the Spurs will have a chance to win the next game in the 4th quarter. Im not sure if they will but I think they can play stress free basketball, especially for guys like Diaw/Green.
It will never be stress free basketball in their house. The Spurs have to focus that stress into play. Not sure they can do that but I am hoping.
OKC surely rattles them, cant blame em tho, when your not in your comfort zone it can effect ya mentally.
I hope Lebron goes off for 50 on Stephenson tonite and then takes a dump on his chest right at mid court. What an asshat. _
I wonder if the Clippers will be leaving LA? Seattle? Cincinnati perhaps? or is there just not enough profit there?
The Finals schedule is out, it turns out that game 7 will he on a Friday rather than a Thursday. If there is a game 7, the build up will be immense and feel like forever. (Game 6 is on a Tuesday)
The Finals is where it really gets brutal. They draw it out forever (they did it somewhat in the conference finals, too, actually, extending them unnecessarily). Why they think Friday is better than Thursday, I don't know. Does it really get better ratings? Yep, #10 especially.
I think I read they have a 9 or 10 year deal left in LA with Staples. The big thing is that Ballmer supports a Seattle team and now he's in all the owner meetings so he can push that for any team that could be relocated. The Bucks and Kings stayed, so I'm not sure what the next team would be that could relocate.
Well they made it even worse this year. Last year game 6 and 7 were on a Tuesday and Thursday, now its Tuesday and Friday. As a Spurs fan though I am not going to complain because there is now travel involved between games and an extra time would not hurt if there was a game 7.
I'm not sure what the yearly nut is on that lease but I'd think a guy with that much cash and that much interest in moving a franchise to Seattle--with what could be a pretty good fan base--might be able to cut a deal and buy out a few years on that lease. Maybe he stays 5 years as he sets up the move? _
Yeah thats why I brought it up because I heard that he could move em to Seattle. A 9 year lease is a lot but that building does host the Kings and the Lakers so its not like its comparable to say an NFL team moving to a different city. The guy apparently has 20 billion so if he wants to move em he can.
