Las Vegas use to have several bouncing around. The last one was JR's but that shut down and now there are none in the past 4-5 years...
AJ's on Ulmerton used to have a strong Jets presence but it is a big mix of many other teams also. Been a while since I have been there since I am up in Hernando County now.
I lived in Memphis for two years accepting a relocation assignment and left Jersey. I had to resort to internet streams and sports bars that were filled with fans that were not Jets supporters. Then one day I stumbled into a place called, "The East End Grill on the Memphis and Germantown border." A restuarant with a bar atmosphere and outside patio. As I looked around I saw New York Jets memorabilia all over the walls and a green and white, " NEW YORK JETS BLVD" street sign! I went outside and saw three guys with NY Jets Jerseys and I was like WTF?! I come to find out the owner is a long time Jets fan out of Long Island, NY! I immediately felt at home and went on to meet many great Jets fans some which relocated like myself, but also a bunch of Memphis Gang Green supporters! The owner holds Jets dinner viewing parties were he whips up a gourmet meal for those that chip in for it (he is a chef) and all the Jets fans sit front and center at the main flat screen as the restuarant surround sound speakers all tune to the game! I was there for both back to back championship game runs and will not forget the times and friends I met there, some of which I still keep in touch with. Great Place, Great Atmoshphere, Great Food and not just because it's a Restaurant that supports the NY JETS.
If you just take a few trips down there and eat at the roadside taco shacks your stomach will be used to it in no time, if you survive that is.
Mack, I think my dad and I met you in a Binghamton hotel a few years ago on the way up to see training camp in Cortland. Glad to hear you're doing well down there!
I never went to training camp in Cortland, nor have I ever been to Binghamton, so I doubt that's me that you met. I appreciate the well wishes though!
Ah, OK! Haha, I think it might have been the gentleman who runs the bar. I'm also operating under the assumption that yours is the only Jets bar in Charlotte.
I believe that it is. I'm not the one who runs the fan club or the bar, so if the person you met is the bar owner, you're talking to the wrong guy!
