We trade back with the Broncos, pick up their second and fifth, and take Latimer at 31.

I voted Lee. Just a guess. We really do not have a reason to think the Jets prefer Lee or Cooks or Beckham.

I would be fine with any of those three.

I generally dislike taking TEs in round 1, so I will say the heck with Ebron. Months ago, I preferred him. Thinking about it more, I want the Jets to take a wideout or safety in round 1.

I have nothing against trading back and picking up additional picks, but not and winding up with Lattimer or Lattimore (or however you spell his name). He looks like a nice prospect, but not 1st round worthy imo. Watkins, Evans, Cooks, Beckham, Matthews are all better and Adams, Robinson and Moncrief may be better as well.

It would be just like last year if that happens, when Milliner dropped to us at #9 (recall he was projected to go as high as #2 overall by some).
I could see that happening as well; Gilbert seems like a typical Idzik pick (if we can tell what that is after just one season, of course)

    I voted other..
The range of players that might be available makes me believe the Jets will definitely get a good player 1st round.
    ( and hopefully definite starter.....above avg starter :) )

I think the Jets select Teddy Bridgewater !!!

Idzik will want a difference maker and go with the guy that could make the biggest for the Jets long term.
The more and more i hear about people saying the Qbs drop ..... i am starting to believe !!!

Like the draft we got Mo Wilkerson... because of a wealth of lineman that year... ( awesome team leader )
This year.... the NFL ... gift wraps our future QB.

In my mind,, teddy makes too much sense.
Teddy is mobile,, just like Geno and Mike Vick.. So if injury occurs... can run the same offense.
He is smart, clutch and a god send.

Whoever gets Marqise Lee will end up with the steal of the draft. I hope it's us!!!

....Beckham and Cooks have bust written all over them. Beckham is a soccer name, and Cooks can't spell his first name! :D Seriously though, the bust rate for 1st round WRs is high, and Beckham and Cooks really look like the kind of guys who could end up busts. Just my opinion.
(BTW, while I wasn't on this board at the time, I did call the Stephen Hill bust when we took him)

Ryan Shazier or Calvin Pryor. Those two guys would add a mean streak to this defense on top of our already formidable front.
