The end goal IS to win the Super Bowl. However there are other benchmarks that qualifies as a successful season. For a team with low expectations like the '06 and '09 Jets just making the playoffs is a successful season and they weren't "failures".
Wow do U need a dose of maturity IMHO. IN SPORTS there are only 2 options winning or losing so if U do not win you are UNSUCCESSFUL. That's it plain % simple. Boy you R exactly the fan over & under was talking about in a earlier post as well as deluding your self when U say that a team was successful even though they were losers.
