I just want Miami in our building Week 1.

A statement needs to be made early. But I see us opening on the road.

we have opened at home 4 straight years so chances are we will be on the road but I thought that last year too and we opened at home.

Well if trends are anything to go off of, we should be playing an AFC team in the opener at Home :) Patriots please. Sunday Night Football... Get this season started right.

The reason we are getting home openers first week might have something to do with Giants playing primetime games for the last few years allowing the stadium to be available Sunday 1 PM. Giants are crappy now and I think they will get the Sunday 1 PM opener and we will open on the road. I hope it is against the Pats on the road.

Yeah, I just realized that, but Quickdraw McJunc jumped on my post before I could correct it.

they have only had 2 primetime season openers(2012 and 2013), we had 2 as well(2010, 2011)
they have been on the road 2 of the last 4 so that wouldn't really impact us whether it was primetime or not.

Why are so many people looking forward to playing the Patriots in week one?

Ask yourself which team stands to improve the most in say, the first six weeks - the Jets or the Patriots?

Maybe the brass band, clown car and dancing girls aren't available until the end of the week.

Actually I think Goodell just gained a little weight and got stuck in his Jets underoos, and has to have them surgically removed. /patsfags

3-1 at home, but those 3 games we won - we still ended up missing the playoffs. Maybe a change could help.

We seriously need to become a better road team.

In season openers we are 4-1 under rex w/ the lone loss being by a point.

In home openers we are also 4-1 w/ the lone loss being by 1 pt.

In road openers we are 2-3 after starting out 2-0.

With trips to San Diego and one of the best homefields in the game, Arrowhead/Kansas City.....we should be happy to split even on the road. Just means a 6-2 home record has to happen. Broncos and one of the divisional games should be the lone mulligans/blemishes at home if we want to make the playoffs.

Because Week 5 they get Browner... I would rather play them when they are not fully synced yet as we have a much better chance than say in Week 12 when they are firing on all cylinders..

there is no need to worry about Browner but NE is always better late in the year so getting them early is better for us.

I have a feeling that we may be starting on the road in week 1.
