Let's spice things up. If somebody can help me to check all the entries once schedule is announced, I will give $25 gift card to the person who guessed most games right. Days and times not important. Just the team and week. Bye is also included. Winner can select what gift card he/she prefers. Edit: In fact, let's put a minimum game requirement. Otherwise a poor entry might win as well. Okay. The winner has to guess at least 9 games-weeks correctly.
Week 1: @ Minnesota 1PM CBS(If Manziel is the QB for the Vikings, Gumbel/Fouts. If its Bridgewater/Carr/Bortles/Jimmy G. Eagle/Gannon) Reason: CBS can't have 4PM games with the US Open.....all NFC vs AFC games where the NFC hosts go to CBS. Two non-playoff teams last season, Jets have opened at home from 2010 to 2013(Last time was when we blew out the Texans in Rex and Mark's debuts in 09)....we're due for a road open. Manziel is such a buzz worthy QB that he gets CBS's 2nd team out there despite this being the Vikings. Any other rookie QB probably gets CBS 3rd team Week 2: vs Denver 4PM CBS(Nantz/Simms) Reason: Denver will pretty much always get CBS 1st team whenever they are on CBS.....4PM start is to help cater to the Broncos coming on over from the West Coast....I have them opening at home vs the Cards though a Broncos/Seahawks reunion to open the year is plausible too. We'll get the toughest team on the schedule off in our opener. Week 3: vs Miami 1PM CBS Week 4: @ Kansas City 4PM CBS(Thursday Night Football) Week 5: @ Buffalo 1PM CBS Week 6: BYE Reason: We've been fortunate with the BYE being so late...this one comes rather early. Week 7: vs Detroit 1PM FOX Reason: Help me god if we fuck this game up post-BYE. We're so due for a win under Rex post BYE......Manish and everyone will bring up Dave and Busters. Play good here. Week 8: @ New England(Monday Night Football) 8:20 PM ESPN Week 9: vs Oakland 4PM CBS Week 10: @Miami 1PM CBS Week 11: @ Tennessee 4PM CBS Week 12: vs Pittsburgh 1PM CBS Week 13: @ San Diego 4PM CBS Week 14: vs Buffalo 4PM CBS Week 15: vs Chicago 1PM FOX Week 16: @ Green Bay 4PM CBS Reason: Snow at Lambeau Field.....ground and pound. We need to catch the Packers late in the year. They are unlucky always with injuries and we can really use Ivory or whoever in full force here. We're built for these ugly weather games. Lacy will have to be superman or something for this one. Week 17: vs New England 1PM CBS Reason: Have not played the Pats in this Week 17 divisional lock ever since this new format began for Goodell....its due. This rivalry does not have the luster it had say 2 or 3 years ago....as evident by the week 2 TNF game these two teams got last year.
Week 1- at Cheifs Week 2-vs Titans Week 3-at Miami Week 4-at Broncos Week 5-vs Vikings Week 6-at Patriots Week 7-vs Bears Week 8-at Bills Week 9-Bye Week Week 10-vs Miami Week 11-vs Lions Week 12-at Raiders Week 13-at Chargers Week 14-vs Bills Week 15-vs Steelers Week 16-at Green Bay Week 17-vs Patriots
Week 1 @ Tenn Week 2 vs Mia Week 3 vs Pitt Week 4 @ KC Week 5 vs NE Week 6 BYE Week 7 @ Minn Week 8 @ Buf Week 9 vs Den Week 10 @ SD Week 11 vs NE Week 12 vs Chi Week 13 @ GB Week 14 @Mia Week 15 vs Det Week 16 vs Buf Week 17 vs Oak
I'll be at GB and Minny for sure. Hoping to hit San Diego and KC depending on date/time/etc. Week 1- @ Green Bay Week 2- vs. MIAMI Week 3- vs. DENVER Week 4- @ Buffalo (Thursday) Week 5- @ New England Week 6- vs PITTSBURGH Week 7- BYE Week 8- vs. OAKLAND Week 9- @ Minnesota Week 10- @ Kansas City (Monday) Week 11- vs. DETROIT Week 12- @ Tennessee Week 13- @Miami Week 14- vs. BUFFALO Week 15- vs. CHICAGO Week 16- @ San Diego Week 17- vs. NEW ENGLAND
Not sure about the schedule and don't care to guess the whole season, but I can see two of the night games being NE and Tenn.
With the Johnson signing, maybe. Might see that as a Week 1 game now since the NFL likes to trollololol as we saw with Revis last year. Then again Sanchez set that matchup back with the game of his life that Monday night.
Yep, I was there. Everyone chanting for Tebow because Sanchez was and still is such a fucking terrible QB.
Week 1: at Tennessee 1 pm Week 2: OAKLAND 4:25 pm Week 3: at Green Bay (Thurs) Week 4: DENVER 4:25 pm Week 5: at Minnesota 4:05 pm Week 6: MIAMI 1 pm Week 7: BYE Week 8 NEW ENGLAND (SNF) Week 9: at Buffalo 1 pm Week 10: PITTSBURGH 1 pm Week 11: DETROIT 1 pm (flex) Week 12: at San Diego 4:15 pm (flex) Week 13: CHICAGO (MNF) Week 14: at Miami 4:15 pm (flex) Week 15: at KC 1 pm (flex) Week 16 BUFFALO 1 pm (flex) Week 17 at New England 4:15 pm (flex)
I can see those matches, although they would kind of go against recent history of the NFL trying to create drama with their schedule. Miami-Jets hasn't generated much national buzz and that Packers idea is just out of left field, so unless you have some kind of info as to why they would be a Jets night game, I think you're just guessing at random from the potential opponents.
Week 1: vs MIA Week 2: vs PIT Week 3: at Min Week 4: at SD Week 5: vs BUF Week 6: at KC Week 7: vs NE Week 8: BYE Week 9: at Buf Week 10: vs DET Week 11: at GB Week 12: vs DEN Week 13: at Ten Week 14: at Mia Week 15: vs CHI Week 16: vs OAK Week 17: at NE
Well New England as a night game I am 95% sure... Miami and Green Bay just guessing. Honestly have no clue.. Could be any team.
I asked them that, they said they wanted to see a good game. They apologized for winning. THAT is where Mark put us.
