We need a nickname. Just like we have a nickname for the defensive line, these two deserve one as well.
I'm guessing that the snaps will be divided depending on what defenses they play and what those defenses' strengths and weaknesses are.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too..now they get a WR, TE, CB and linemen in the draft and we can definitely compete for a playoff spot if we stay healthy.
You just won. Just bookmark this thread and post it in the comments of whatever lame article our beat writers rip it off in.
I'm sure it will vary from game to game, as they will have different game plans going in. Some teams are going to be stronger in the spaces where Ivory is strongest, and some are stronger defending a quicker back that likes to take it to the outside. Since both are starting quality backs, we will be able to choose who gets more action each week.
It really will be bad ass to see Ivory and Johnson stand side by side in the backfield, both with their dreads
A strong all around TE would take this offense from competent to dangerous in my opinion. The other missing link might be a starting quality guard depending on what Brian Winters becomes this season.
The next awesome news would be that he is gonna use number 24 so I can change the name on my Revis jerseys
