There's a distinct difference between saying something as fact and saying something as opinion. People like yourself like to shit on every move this team makes because you lack the understanding of football transactions. You can't seem to grasp the facts. Saying "I think" is what this forum is about. Opinions and conversation. But people like yourself post on here saying "Idzik sucks and is only a cap guy" a false statement. "Chris Johnson will sign with Denver and not come back" a false statement not written as opinion. You understand?

Having an opinion is normal but you make some consistent dumb ass posts. Assuming that Chris Johnson's knee is OK is a safe assumption. It was a minor injury that has healed. It is OBVIOUS this whole thing is about money, like every contract, which is exactly what I said. That's a fact based opinion. Not some bullshit like "Idzik was brought in because he has a math degree"

Chris Johnson is not the "missing piece" for the Jets. He'd be a nice addition but he doesnt elevate the Jets to that level.

I'm not talking "1 million dollars" over. I'm talking about spending an absurd amount of money on him, which is what he was under contract with the Titans as. Just as you stated, $8 million is overspending. The point is you don't just throw money at guys because they are big names. You spend wisely, which is exactly what Idzik has been doing. Just because you "have a ton of money" doesn't mean you freely spend it to spend it. If you think that, you lack the understanding of an NFL cap.

Show me the fact that CJ knee surgery didn't have something to with Idzik offer?

Then why has just about the entire NY press saying he would definitely elevate the Jets game. Please tell me what that missing piece is and yes why not think SB. That is way a serious football team thinks.

Jesus man. Let me speak in layman's terms for you.

First of all, Johnson had surgery for a torn meniscus. A "minor" injury in the eyes of every sports doctor on this planet. I've dealt with it twice personally. He played with the injury for 13 weeks of last season and still managed 1,000 yards. He had it scooped out and is 100% now, as indicated by his agent. He passed a physical by the Jets which again shows his knee being healthy. Here is Chris Johnson's words:

"Johnson told Jim Wyatt ‏of the Tennessean that the procedure is “minor” and will repair an issue that he played through for almost all of the 2013 season.

“It’s nothing major. A lot of people don’t know I been playing with it since week 3 of the season,” Johnson told Wyatt."

Again, as I stated before, a fact based opinion. It is a FACT that he had a minor injury. It is a FACT that he is fully healthy and passed his physical. It is a FACT that he is fine as of today. I never said it was a FACT that it had nothing to do with Idzik's approach. I said "I think" clearly in my response. If you don't remember, you can go back and re-read it. Actually, let me quote it for you:

"I don't think his surgery had anything to do with it"

    Again, a fact based OPINION.

    Yeah Lmao!!

Chris Johnson super bowl baby!! Wtf is Idzik doing?! Chris Johnson is the missing piece for a ring! Holy shit. Why didn't I see it before. The answer isn't the lack of receivers still, nor the lack of a second sure fit corner, nor the lack of a cover safety, nor the lack of a TE. It's Chris Johnson!

He would help elevate the Jets. He just doesn't make them a SB team on paper is all i'm saying. I don't care what the press says, and I havent heard any of them say that he would elevate them to that extent. I think the majority of the press would probably think he would be a nice addition for the team, just not to that extent. Thinking SB is the right thing to do, it should always be what every team is thinking.

If he wanted to be a Jet as bad as the reports are making it seem like, he would be a Jet right now. He's not a Jet right now.
