The local media went on a two year terror spree at the Jet's expense. I wouldn't expect many of them to get an in with the team again. The guys from the Star Ledger were ok, Cimini and McManus were ok, maybe Costello from the Daily News, Serby was Serby. I don't really expect that a lot of the other people in place have much of a shelf-life covering the Jets any more. You have to have relationships inside the building to be an effective reporter and there's likely a long blackball list of local beat reporters at this point.
Its ironic/funny that the NYDN have a program on SNY which is Mets/Jets(more so Mets) funded. I bet Mehta/NYDN(Manish should not get all the blame, his paper pushes the agenda...same with Isola and the Knicks) are blackballed by the Jets.

Any time you're dealing with Darrelle Revis there will be major leaks involved. His agents weaponize the media and the internet in pursuit of his goals.
He's less concerned then. Half the Jets fans probably think he uses it to write contracts out on to save paper and to show what he thinks of free agents.
I'm not either, but it doesn't change the fact that he did add a player that was perceived as a difference maker and was a 1,000 yard receiver who has caught a lot of TDs. Not saying he'll be a good or bad signing, but factually speaking, he did exactly that.
The likely reason Geno collapsed in the middle of the season was a crisis of confidence, both his own and the coaching staff. He was throwing to street meat for awhile there and I think he just gave up. That's when I got down on him. Watching him try to force big plays to Greg Salas and Zach Sudfeld and then watching him stop trying to do even that. We got really lucky that Simms got a half against the Fins and made the choice obvious to even the doubters in-house. That's what got Geno back on his feet again. Watching somebody else look even worse than him throwing to nobody and his cousin Orville.
Yeah but if Decker turns out to be a product of Manning then Idzik will get blame because he should had seen that and passed on him.
And where exactly did Pauline get that info from? I haven't seen anything printed about the Jets intentions this year that was more than randomly accurate. I would take everything you read about the Jets intentions that does not come attached to a specific Jet's official as 99% bullshit with a 1% seasoning of "even a blind squirrel finds an acorn now and then."
