They gave him a card that shows player value during his GM orientation classes.

As pointed out on...another site, IR said he is not visiting another team today, not that he is not on his way for an official visit tomorrow. Nice how he left himself an out there, just in case.

As a jets fan i learned to never believe anything until i see it happen. Therefore this is just some myth to me right now. I'd go banoodles if it happens though :)

Can you imagine if we grabbed CJ and took one (or two) of the elite WRs in the draft?

    CJ/Ivory/Powell
    Decker/Rookie/Kerley

That's a nice upgrade compared to what we threw out there last year.

and that is how quickly a team can turn around without making it rain in free agency, much to the disappointment of our fellow message board stage whores.

Our secondary can only improve from last year, no fucking way it could be any worse.

This will depend on how well Milliner progresses if any at all and how well Rex adjusts the defense to fit the talent.
If we judge by where the DB group left off last year i don't see our secondary any better then the db group that gave up 400 a game in NO

if we can get cooks and CJ i would love that. esp with the jets talking Geno only throwing 15-20 passes a game this year (assuming/hoping he starts). that would give this offense that 2010 feel but potentially better just because of MM compared to brian schottenheimer at play calling.

the point isn't that we would have shored up the entire team, the point is there are plenty of opportunities to improve the team, and at less money, than going all ebay bidding war during the first few days of free agency like many people have been whining about.

Looks like no visit from Chris Johnson tomorrow. Idzik and Co. will be at LSU's pro day.

Don't really need a visit. I'm sure since the Jets was talking trade to get him they also talked to CJ and know what he looking to get. Plus deals get done all the time over the phone.

Part of the reason players take visits is to get a feel for the coaching staff in person and to get a feel for the facility and the city they would be living in. A deal won't happen without a visit. Believe me

Is there any mod who can pull this thread up again? It was among my favorites on this board.
