WRONG Again, the word "would" represents a Future tense NOT a Present tense, so there was NO reason for you to attempt to "correct" anything that did not need to be corrected because it was already correct. Again, ANYWAY you slice it YOU ARE/WERE WRONG.

I still maintain that all it will take is one team to overpay (and that almost always happens) and CJ will become an afterthought.

Again, not a knock against Idzik at all. It's his plan and we need to get used to it.

I'd be VERY surprised if we get CJ.

Jeez have you been drinking? Seems like you're getting a little worked up here. Yes, the word would represents a future tense, but in the context it is basically an "if, then" statement. For example, "If Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory were on a team together, then it would be epic." It is grammatically correct, and it is a logical statement that implies a guarantee. The problem is that a team of Johnson and Ivory is by no means a guarantee of anything epic. There is a chance that it could be not epic at all, therefore making the correct statement "If Chris Johnson and Chris Ivory were on a team together, then it could be epic." I know what Falco meant, but technically it's a logical fallacy.

Clearly you've never never taken a class with the most basic introduction to logic. Or apparently the English language.

Plea was for one year. If he gets his motion for separate trials granted and his mtn to throw out his statement, which was made while he was obviously seriously intoxicated, he has a decent chance of beating it.
Separate trials would give them each the ability to claim the gun was not theirs. the state has to prove it is his and if there are no fingerprints on the gun makes it hard to prove it wasn't just left there. In that vein, does anyone know if there were prints on the gun?

When I was young I would do my homework every evening.

'Would' used as past tense above, 'would' can be used in multiple ways.
    Is the English lesson over?

Sometimes I do wonder if anything being considered will make some Jet fans happy.

IMO, is pretty cut and dry. It is nearly impossible to argue against the phenomenal value that C2KJ could bring to this team. With him on the back field, or him and Ivory together , most defenses will stack the box with 8 people over and over. That could free up a myriad of opportunities for the short/ medium passing game to Decker, Kerley, Cook, TBD TE, you name it. Geno and or Vick for once would have the options at their disposal to open up the passing game.

We do not have the same factor with Powell and we don't even know if Goodson will be on the field.

The big, big difference in my opinion, is the ability for 2k to break one loose for 80 yards once in a while. That will get the Ds attention. Can some one please help me remember when was the last time the Jets had that type of threat in the back field.

Many argue that he has not much left in the tank. Hard for me to see it that way. Even while injured and often misused, he was racking in the yards, often pulled when it was 1st and goal from the 7-8 to bring in S. Green if you can believe that. With MM, C2kJ could bring some major opportunities for the Jets over at least the next 2-3 years.

and if he were to come here Rex would direct him to run into defenders straight up the middle 99% of the time.
