We needed a RG and he is better than anything else on the roster.

Wow Francesa is defending the Jets in free agency! I think I've heard it all now.

Its not even that, this team is not going to utilize Jackson the same way other teams would
Because he is right and all these people flipping out need to relax and wait until the 53 man roster is in place and the Jets are actually playing games.

While not a fan Vick is a far better option than Geno right now. If healthy.

Was not a big fan of Colon's pass protection game and his injury history scares me but a very good run opener and great leader/passionate player and we needed to add a guard.

Just hope it isn't too much money. Would be cool if its the similar type of deal Pace got. Still want a day 3 guard in the draft to at least push Winters in training camp and to be the 1st guy up if Colon gets hurts.

EDIT: 1 year 2 mill is a great deal. Big props to Idzik and also Willie Colon for being a man of his word. He said if Rex returns, he returns and that held true.

    Not with his legs.

Geno is a better runner at this point. The age and injuries have cut Vick's best trait, his scrambling and improvising on the run. Vick might be a more NFL smarter QB by not forcing picks but he doesn't have Geno's arm.

He's not far better.....Vick is better if this is the Vick of 4-5 years ago but I don't think he has that left in him.

It's funny how scarred people are from the Tannenbaum years, isn't it?

Zaun needs to rebuild the bridge with the Jets now that he's going on FS1.

I can see Mike going to Jets training camp this year and getting interviews with Rex/Mo Wilk/Geno/Idzik/Marty M.

Colon and Breno playing next to each. Both are the "bullies" of an OL should be interesting
