If we trade down with the Browns if they want Manziel/Carr with their 2nd first rounder(Taking they want Watkins and can't get Edelman in FA) and then get Amaro, I am perfectly fine with that. Not sure about him as the pick at 18 though.
Maybe Sanders mindset is to visit each team before signing maybe we'll get the last visit which could work out best
I still think we get either Niklas in Round 2 or Fiedorowicz in Round 3 or Early Round 4. They want a blocking oriented compliment to Cumberland? Well there's the two best blockers in the draft.
I think it says a lot about where Idzik's priorities are in terms of team building IMO. Maybe that was partially his point. He obviously values the draft over free agency.
My friend who I just met this semester in college is very negative. Die hard Jets fan, but very negative (can't blame him in a way, though). He thinks we overpaid for Decker and that he isn't even a #2 receiver, but more #3-#4 (WTF?). I just told him about DRC, and he says that he'll be overpaid and isn't that good. I told him he's great in press coverage, and that he probably won't be overpaid cause a lot of the suitors already got CB's and Idzik won't overpay for anyone. He says Jets management is horrendous and that we're looking at 4 wins next season. I just end up rolling my eyes at him. Edit-He's even more pissed cause he thinks we missed out on Revis, that's where a lot of his anger is coming from. He also thinks that we should sign Emmanuel Sanders, and is mad that we probably won't.
This is, quite frankly, very disheartening news. Twofold in that (i) he's negative and (ii) that you just met him this semester. _
