No its not. The Jets parted ways with Revis a year ago for a reason. He is a human hold out/contract re-negotiator/selfish mercenary. He was coming off a serious injury and still wanted to be paid a boatload of money. Mainly, they parted ways because the new FO does not think CBs should be paid the same as QBs. The Jets came off 3-4 years of spending 1/6 th of their cap on two starting CBs. Those days are over and the Jets were not going back there. And a one year deal? We would be doing this all over again next year, just like we did every year with Revis from his rookie year on. It got old, distracting, and was not worth it. He's gone and he's not coming back and the Jets are better for it. Give it up already.
Your incorrect, it was middle of the road. It was an average secondary, they had their good weeks, and they had their bad. They weren't consistent in either direction. But they were not one of the worst teams in the league against the pass, they just weren't.
If Tanne was still here, we wouldn't have the cap space to sign those guys, and if we did it would be a MASSIVE overpay

Show us proof Antonio Allen is a natural free safety, prove you are not talking out of your ass. AA is more effective near the line of scrimmage therefore his position on the field is strong safety. This was evident when he held his own against Gronk
Please dont mistake allen swapping sides of the field to cover a TE with playing fs. Its a strong nickle where the ss crowds the box for cov run support. Your just miss understanding position assignments.

This would be ideal. Once the FO is done filling all holes, they should lock him up and front load the contract.
Either the Jets have a plan beyond Cro or the Cardinals are about to overpay for a down grading CB. DCR is still out there people.
