Why did we pay so much for Decker?

I wonder what the plan is. It seems there really has been only leak at a time regarding what the jets are working on. Reportedly there was low interest in verner and revis

Trolling?? We signed the best receiver on the market for 7 mil a year and if you look at the contract details it's very cap favoring for us

Milliner should be given more credit. We arent going to be signing anymore then 1 FA CB most likely. Milliner will be slotted in at worst as a #2. They drafted him 9th overall.

You are right. I was underselling our CB situation a bit. We are missing a 1 or 2 but unlike WR the jets believe they have a 1 or 2 CB on the roster that just needs to develop.

I'm as positive as any fan here. I predict we win the SB every year, even the year we went 1-15 and my wife larfed at me.

But predicting/hoping is what fans do.

Getting on an adult message board and saying to a certitude that we're winning the SB is infantile.

This newbie sounds like a 11 year old fifth grader tweeting that she's going to marry Justin Beiber.

That's what he sounds like, a little girl/school child.

It's not what adult football boards were meant for.

But what the hell, YIPPPPPEEEEEE GO JETS!!!!!!

Sounds silly but who am I?

He's a solid blocker. He's not spectacular and has never graded out in top 10 in blocking efficiency. That being said, he's a big improvement over Cumberlamd who graded 35th last year.

I still hope we grab a rook from this excellent TE class.

I WANT to feel confident in him, but at this point we're going with a dearth of inexperience at both ends of the field.

OLB can be solved by mid found picks, Barnes really is okay as a Pass rusher even if we can do better, but Walls and Milliner? er....

Yea, I think Milliner will be that #2. Corners take some time to develop and he came on strong at the end of last season so I have faith he can be a solid #2, but I agree we don't have a #1 type corner... DRC would def give us that, If he chooses his heart is still in it.

At noon the Pettigrew deal was "in place and will be signed shortly" It's now almost 8pm. Do we have to take every free agent out to dinner for them to sign with us!?

In that case, tell DRC we'll buy him lunch for a year.

That news was misinterpreted. Pettigrew hasn't decided yet down to us, lions, and raiders. If we pay more than 2 million a year I hope he goes elsewhere

I hope they bring in another corner, but I do like what I've seen from Walls. Maybe he can develop into a starter

He played well down the stretch, which was important. The Jets aren't going into this season with plans of him being a #3 corner like they did with Kyle Wilson. Milliner is going to be an important piece for the secondary. Question is will he play like he did towards the end of the season, or play like he did early on in the season.

Milliner is DEFINITELY our #2 and after what i seen he guarded the #1's better than cro could all season in those last couple games AND got defensive rookie of the MONTH in the process. Dee has a bright future remember he didnt have an offseason last year and was drafted injured. So his slow start more than likely has everything to do with that (plus he was a rook). If we can get cro back for a 2 year deal i'd be fine with that.

I would be thrilled if we sign Chris D. Clemons, he's a underrated player at safety who could help us big, he's a top cover guy.

Def agree, you don't have 2 tell me man, I'm a fan of Milliner and I have faith he will be good for us like i stated in my post. He beasted the last 3 games last season, I believe it was 10 pass defenses and 2 picks in the final 2 games... Pretty beastly.
