I don't agree with this. DRC is good and certainly hasn't been injured as much, but last year Talib was more impactful than even Revis in his prime. I say that because Talib not only could lock down a #1 WR but he also took out some premier TE as well. That was pretty impressive, and I've never seen DRC lock down anyone.
Deep WR draft.....and if we get Decker/Jones, we could wait until day 3(I.E. 4th round as we could have 3 picks that round) to get to it.
well if that recent report about him rejecting 6 years and 54 mill is true then forget it ... He too inconsistent in my opinion to get that much ... Not even that much but he wants more then that!!!
Idzik set a tone for FA by signing Decker. This is the logical continuation of it and it will help the team. I just don't like how likely and awesome it would've been to get something like Lee/ASJ in the draft after signing Ward and Asamoah. Instead the draft strategy is now kind of a clusterfuck where you just signed Cumberland to a 3 year contract and can essentially cut him if Ebron/Amaro/ASJ are drafted, it's not exactly clear if WR should even be the top priority in round 1 anymore even though it's stocked, where the hell do we get a good safety from now or guard for that matter, etc. I am glad that he at least picked a path and is sticking to his guns even if it wasn't necessarily the ideal one. At least he didn't totally chicken out from spending some money with all of that cap room.
How would you feel if we draft haha clinton dix at 18 Yes or no? I really wanna draft a wr at 18 but whatever is best for the team is what i want
I wonder if Ebron is the only TE that Idzik has on his Round 1 radar, and Idzik plans on Ebron getting selected before #18. Thus, the resigning of Cumberland and the apparent pursuit of Pettigrew. And if we do sign Pettigrew AND Ebron falls to #18, well, then, that's gravy.
Rams haven't gotten the safety help they really need....they pick before us so it'd be a shock if he got by them.
Anything over 2 mill would be a terrible signing for Pettigrew. Detroit fans love that he's gone and we really need a guy that can split out and catch the ball Pettigrew is a blocking tight end
I wouldn't complain... Great ballhawking safety which is exactly what we need... One of my favorites with Jimmie Ward... Honestly that's what I would like to see happen.
Well, if you liked that one then read this one and decide for yourself which is right.. http://espn.go.com/blog/new-york/jets/post/_/id/36473/a-revis-reunion-ha-turns-into-nightmare
