maybin was a first round talent. Sam is not. I'll cross the Sam bridge if it comes to that. I have nothing against his sexual preferences but I have everything against his combine numbers. They were dogshit.
This is nice to see. An honest bit of reporting. Revis agents contact the Jets and it's reported that way. Not "Jets showing interest in Darrelle Revis".
Revis camp contacting the Jets REEKS of them trying to drive up his price. They want a bidding war between us and New England.
No doubt they want a bidding war but the Patriots only have 15 million to spend and actually about 10 because they have other issues and have to pay draft picks. So until the Patriots cut someone they cant really outbid the Jets. We have all the power, the Patriots will make us overpay though, no doubt. It depends how badly we want him and how badly the Patriots do.
Overdrafted and was a failure in Buffalo because of work ethic and because he had some kind of weight loss problem that affected him. Even then with the Jets and Cincy, minus one half year, he's out of the NFL. He wasn't that great in Penn St, not compared to Sam. The reason I bring up the owner is because we'll see how long he will tolerate Idzik's slow and steady approach, especially if our impatient fanbase gets testy and may risk season tickets as the price. I love Woody's patience and him letting Idzik do his thing but I won't be shocked if Woody Johnson just steps in and gets Decker whatever he wants regardless of Idzik's approach to get that "Big Name" signing.

Of course they want a bidding war. Without a bidding war between the Pats and the Jets Revis winds up in Cleveland playing for the Browns.
Oh I understand what you mean now. I apologize. Yeah you have a point but Woody shouldn't undermine Idzik's authority or we're back to square one.

So Revis people first went quacking about going to NE and then called Jets, right? This is a clear $$-driving move. Anyone still thinks Revis will take a paycut?
