We win the Super Bowl with Jason Campbell in 09. Fact. We handed the keys to a Ferrari to a 17-year old driver who just got his or her license

Everyone under rating Decker needs to stop. I'm willing to bet none of you can claim you've seen about 95% of what Decker has done game in, game out. Being from Colorado I can. He is a good big bodied receiver, he was productive with Tebow, he will be productive with Geno.

    1) i never said we should hoard money, i said we shouldnt overpay decker or howard. im fine giving money to guys who are worth it, even if its big money.

    2) decker "led the team in receiving" is putting lipstick on a pig. that was the tebow year and his numbers were super average... just like they will be here if we sign him

While true that Decker played alongside some very skilled WRs in Denver, he'll also be playing alongside Kerley, here; and Kerley is no slouch.

And those 2 WRs are just the beginning of the corps, without even signing another WR (which will probably happen) and without even drafting another WR (which will happen).

Think of the WR corps as a unit who benefit each other collectively -- not individuals in a vacuum.

Idzik needs to sign a back up QB, drop Sanchez, use that money for Revis and we will still have around the same cap number

    They all are.

People need to examine previous offseasons, perfect example, 2011

    Top 3 Free Agent WRs:

    Holmes
    Rice
    Edwards

All we heard was how it would be impossible to retain Holmes and Edwards. How did it play out? Jets sign Holmes for 10 million immediately, Seahawks sign Rice for 10 million. Edwards was the best remaining and was expected to get 7-8 million, thats why everyone though it was impossible for him to return to the Jets. Jets sign Plaxico for 3 million, a couple weeks later Braylon signs for 3.5 because the market died out and he went from being one of the hottest commodities to desperate. You think Tannenbaum would have taken Plax over Braylon if he had known Braylon was going to be that cheap? not a chance. Tannenbaum rushed and ended up overpaying for Holmes and completely missed out on Edwards because of his impatience.

Early on it appears these recievers are not getting much interest, we have a good amount of recievers sitting to. I wouldnt be shocked if someone is sitting there in a month without a job and is really desperate.

    This is what is crazy.

We HAVE the money to sign Revis, even if it is at what he wants. If we cut Sanchez we will have close to $50 million. That's plenty to sign Decker, Austin/Jones, a guy like Vick, and Revis.

Really? Is that how you remember it? Most of us remember having the #1 ranked defense in football.

So let me understand this ... Your point is, if we do add Revis our defense still wouldn't be good enough to win the SB. Do you actually believe that?

Why? He likely has nothing against Revis - it was Tannenbaum who got put through all the holdout stuff, not Idzik.

I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell that Revis is back with the Jets, but it would be pretty epic to pick up a 1st and a 4th to let Revis rehab somewhere else for a year then come back fresh.
