Schefter just said on ESPN how the jets and decker are working on getting a deal and that the jets don't want him leaving the building. He's as plugged in as anyone so it sounds like it's just a matter of time.
I just saw that. He had a good point about Tate signing as well. It sets the market and may speed up the process.
im not sure why everyone is so high on decker. do you really see him as more then an average NFL wideout? You dont think manning inflates his stats? what kind of numbers do you see him getting here? I see him here as like a 60 catch, 700 yard 5-8 TD guy. is that worth big money?
Even if Decker comes to us at a decent price, how is he going to beat press coverage??? MM supposedly values receivers who can, and there's still an APB out on Decker from the super bowl...
The only veteran quality about Weeden is his age. He's done. Rather go after Campbell we wanted him last year I believe. Him or Shaun Hill

I'm not a big fan of Decker, but depending on the money it could be a decent transaction. Personally, I hope it's nothing north of 7m, but fuck it, what do I know. Plus, we can use another end zone target since Target masturbater is gone
I'd say 6mill/year for Golden Tate is about right, because in FA, you do have to overpay a bit for young, starters. So, how much more than Tate do you guys think Decker will get?
