Hmm, probably reading too much into it but if she's proud of him it sounds like he signed with a team....and since he's only had time with the Jets...
McCown signed with the Bucs..another lost prospect. LOL..we will be stuck with Sanchise and he will refuse to take a cut!!!
It's close not official with Det but they are saying Tate 5 years 35 mill from Det ... 17.5 mill guaranteed ... Not good for us with decker
McCowns contract sets the bar for Sanchez. Sanchez can look for $4-$5 million from either the jets or the other 31 teams.
McCown is probably who Lovie wanted starting in Chicago, but got shafted by management to start Cutler.
So the the idea of Decker-Jones-Kerley is accepted? Plus Eric Ebron and another drafted receiver? I say yes.
Why the hell are the Jets taking out Bradley Roby for dinner???? Rex is starstruck and Roby got torched repeatedly last season
@TurnOnTheJets: RT @MikeValenti971: Per Former NFL Agent Joel Correy on cbssports Tate will get 5yr $35M, 17.5M guaranteed, $22.5M first 3yr. Dear god. @TurnOnTheJets: Apparently Tate IS NOT signed yet, they were just referring to likely contract numbers
Eric Decker's wife... RT @TheJessicaJames: So proud of my hubby... I support him 100 percent... Holding this baby in til he returns! Ha
I dont know... I hope he doesnt have a total man crush or we are fucked! Unless we can trade back and acquire more picks... But still...
Just want too point out that every single year rex and company has taken someone out to dinner that we never even get close to drafting. Smoke and Mirrors
My fault, I thought you were comparing him to the 2011 group. Either way though, it's not saying a whole, the Jets have what is widely considered the worst crop of receivers in the NFL. Decker absolutely upgrades our talent at WR. I don't hate him as a player, he's big, and can catch the ball downfield (something we were hoping Stephen Hill would provide us with). I just worry about guys who catch passes from Manning who aren't the featured player in that offense. I think the Seahawks style of play is also closer to the Jets style of play then the Broncos is. Like I said, i'd be fine with Decker assuming the Jets don't pay him a whole lot more then it would have cost to sign a guy like Tate.
Man I can't take all this waiting. I'm too impatient. I want Free Agency to feel more like Christmas morning and less like Hanukkah.
