Grasping at straws, as usual I see. Nothing can ever be taken as it is with you guys. It always has to be some mega conspiracy where Revis is subliminally threatening the Jets organization via the media. Please explain his purpose? What would he gain? Aside from unsubstantiated rumors, he was happy with his contract. He made $16.25 mil per year in the first 2 years of the contract. Holding out at that point would have been a HUGE dick move after that kind of money not to mention if he did, he'd fuck himself.

Revis, "I MIGHT hold out! Yeah, what do ya think of that?"

Front office: "Go ahead, we'll own you"

Sorry, there's no logical scenario where Revis threatens the organization with another holdout in 2012. As usual you are wrong and / or blind. Revis played in 2012 and would have continued if not for the injury. Revis was trolling the media, and it was obvious!

    Enough with this bullshit.

Compare his antics with that of Mo Wilk. That should give you a VERY CLEAR answer.

He could have - and should have - said "No, I will not hold out." when asked about his potential hold out. What did he say? He answered "I don't know" as in "I might." That's not how you say "I will not hold out."

No. I do not want this money-whore anywhere near my team, no matter how good he might be on field. I am just so fucking glad that he is someone else's headache and not mine.

It's funny. I come at you from levels so high ya'll couldn't even breathe up here. I'm always right, but you can't comprehend it, and it cracks me up constantly. Darksiders exaggerate everything and twist the truth to fit whatever predetermined negative notion they feel about the team or a player. The team needs FANS not pussies that whine like little teenage drama queens every time things don't go their way. You say Revis threatened a hold out? I want hard evidence of this threat, not some silly media question dodging that could be interpreted 100 different ways. Why is that so unreasonable? I have high standards. Ya'll accept any piece of circumstantial hoopla to fuel your hate. Not my style, bro. Put the hate away, Revis will be back and you will love him. Anyways, unless you can conclusively prove that Revis made an actual threat to hold out in 2012 to anybody on the Jets, you have nothing and are just guessing because Revis decided to troll you stupid muthafuckas, and you fell for it.

You just described darksiders to a T. Nice one.

I should know by now that facts and counterpoints mean absolutely nothing to cop whose job is pretty much to bully people for a living. You're quite the expert. Bravo sir. Keep setting that shining example for the world to see.

    And I almost forgot:

How can you put yourself on such a high level while using the malaprop "ya'll?"

Have to believe TB would trade him for an old dirty sweatshirt before they would cut him knowing there is a chance he might come back to the Jets. The fact the teaming doing the trading could convert a big chunk of his money to a bonus might make that happen. Oakland and the Browns still have money to burn and may just do it. One thing is certain, apparently he has already said he will not take one penny less to help a trade along. Sounds like he wants to pick his next team himself.

I just thought of something. Wasn't Schiano rumored to be joining the Pats coaching staff?

If he does end up there, why would Revis go to NE? They weren't exactly the best of friends in TB.

Don't the Jets also have the money to burn? 40mil+ and Sanchez's contract is still there.

Wonder who the GM is saving it for.

    2x OLBs
    A slew of OLs
    WRs
    Ss
    CB

    On top of extending:

    Mo Wilk

    -----------------------

Did I miss anything? Jets are better off without this fuckhead.

So, who are the Jets going to start at cornerback this year?

Ftr, I am still very doubtful Woody would allow Revis to come back under any circumstances. But the FA Cb options have already rapidly diminished.

I don't want the Jets to go first round in the draft at Cb again.

Woody Johnson needs to suck up his pride and give Idzik the go ahead and sign Revis when he is available. We all know Rex is all for him, and Idzik wasn't there long enough to have any emotions tied to Revis. Darrelles the most complete CB in football and i heard Stephen A. Smith say he would actually favor a return to NY if a deal could be reached, i don't see him going to OAK or CLE unless somehow by trade. SF doesn't have enough money, and the main reason is we cannot let him go to NE. I don't think he would go there by choice but if he doesn't have enough options to go to to a winner he might wind up there with Shields, Talib and Verner all signed. Imagine Revis in a pats uni, i would literally be sick.

And Jets shouldn't draft a CB in round 1. If this draft is as deep as the pundits say it is, then Jets should be able to find a good CB out of mid rounds. Hell, the likes of Richard Sherman could be had at round 5. I also wouldn't mind the Jets looking into CFL venue or Arena football as the stop-gap if Jets do draft a CB in the mid-to-low round.

24 hours ago i would have never thought in a million years that Revis could actually come back. While im indifferent to him and his never ending string of bs complaints about more money, hes also an amazing talent. Now that Vonte Davis got 9.5 mill a year it almost justifies Revis obnoxious contract. I dont care if he comes back i just dont want him going to the Patriots. So if that the case i say the jets pay this maniac what he wants. truly insane turn of events

I don't see a mid round draft pick being a good bet to become a starting Cb as of Opening Day. And without a vet Cb of adequate competence being picked up, that would also move Milliner from #2 to #1 Cb, which is also a very risky move.

To be frank I don't think your approach would be adequate, and I doubt we see the Jets pursue that unless they have no other options.

    It's a misspelling, not a malaprop.

I'm sorry, but if he came back at a decent price, I'd welcome back Revis with open arms.
