There's no reason for this guy to be on our roster with FA opening tommorow.There doing a disservice to both Sanchez and Holmes who might draw intrest from other teams
Those teams may be in our division and there is no reason to help them. Besides, didn't we help Sanchez enough already with the 50 million he's been paid or Holmes with the millions he has been paid? Why would you possibly think we owe them anything?
The Patriots are looking for WR's also. Should the Jets give them better information as they navigate that path by releasing Holmes before the first wave of free agency has passed? There are a lot of considerations involved here. If it was in the Jets best interest to be done with Holmes already they'd have done it already. Obviously they feel there are concerns related to the off-season that suggest they are better off not resolving the issue at this point.

well this is a moot point because Holmes was just released per the NY Jets twitter account. they did the right thing.

Sanchez is likley next. I'm willing to bet the Jets are offering him a super low restructure and Sanchez's camp is considering it. But I expect him to inevitably be cut. Probably within 48 hours.

Tone Time is officially over, thank god. I'd imagine Sanchez being cut will be the opposite of what I'm feeling right now. Will always root for that guy.
