Hi All, been following this superb site for a good couple of years and decided it's time to sign-up and give my two-penneth worth (two-cents to my cross-pond friends). I've been following the Jets since the UK kindly decided to let us see this great sport so have suffered along with you all for the best part of 27 years. Need I add more????
Hello Jets fans, I´m from Germany and became a fan after watching the game against Detroit (6-21 or so) in 1994 or 1995 when I visited New York during my holydays. The game fascinated me and I began following the games via Video text and TV (which turned to be difficulty in Germany). Now it´s much better and much easier to get informations and watch the games because of the Internet. I´m foreseeing the next season (and apologize for faults (orthography, grammar...). Best wishes Jens
Hi everyone. I have been on this board for a while, but I've never really introduced myself. I'm Norm, and I look forward to reading what you all have to say regarding our New York Jets. I will also throw in my two cents worth when I feel the need. I am hoping the team will be competitive next year. I am optimistic that with the draft picks and cap space the team has, that John Idzik will fortify the many holes we currently have, especially on offense. Wishing you all a good offseason. Looking forward to the draft in May, and seeing how it pans out. Have a great day all!
Hi to all my old friends and the newbies. I lived in Vegas for the past 27 years and just moved to Boynton Beach, FL. No friends left there and no family, besides the town isn't what it first was. When I started in Vegas only a few casinos would show the Jets, and then they usually shut it down because no one else wanted to watch. Slowly that changed. I had season tickets in Shea since 69 (but watched the Titans) and then to Jersey. Never missed a game. When we moved we would go to a new city to see away games, like San Fran, San Diego, Phoenix, and back to Jersey when we visited New York. Started on Green Gang because my son "The Green Guy" put me onto the site. Unfortunatly he died a few years ago and my posting slowed down. I'm tired of the losing feeling, so I sold my Leroy Neimann painting and will get a diferent Joe Willy for my avatar. Looking forward to communicating with both old and new Jet people. Will now be watching games at Bru's Room in Boynton Beach, where all the local fans congregate.
Sorry to hear about your son, LVCoach!! Welcome back. I've only been here 3 months, but really like the place. Sounds like you're a bit of an old fart. I definitely am, and we can't have too many of those types around!
I just got to 1,001 posts a couple weeks ago after visiting the site multiple times daily since the beginning of 2002....so by 2026 1000 posts here I come
I found this forum through my Tapatalk client. Born in 70, to parents of Jets fans. From Jersey City, I made it out alive! Lived most of my life in upstate NY. I now reside in Kansas. Follow our team by way of the Net, DirecTV, & SNY. Met my wife in 1999 & she never followed football. She's a Jet fan now, more rabid than I am. Guess that's a good start... My name is Justin, born and raised in Horseheads, NY. I became a Jets fan when I was born and have currenty sired 2 (soon 3) new Jets fans to the cause. I am a chef living and working in central PA now. I pass the time congradulating Eagles fans on their new starting quarterback, Mark Sanchez.
I'm not a new Jets fan. I've been a fan since the 70's. And if you ask Bradwaysuxsux, he'll tell you that I'm a Giants fan/Manziel troll who created account on boards of 27 different teams to troll those teams that didn't draft Manziel. My dad's an inaugural season ticket holder for the NY Titans and I have seen Joe Namath play. I have been to 100's of live games and camp in Hempstead/Cortland/Florham Park. I have a few choice words for the tarts who have harassed me since I have been here but I will refrain using them. Let's have a great season.
