ill come off the ledge for now. BUT, I got two flights coming up soon. One on the 27th to Arizona ( its fuckin warm there) and then one on March3rd to Florida ( its fuckin warm there)....if either of these trips get fucked up, Im going to Cmans house in PA and stealing his snowblower and then heading over to Jay's house to shove Cman's snowblower up Jay's ass.
Started snowing here around noon but snowed litely then stopped for hours,,,,began snowing again around a half hour or so ago and snowing pretty hard,,,, be safe all
jonnyd....its coming!! the warm weather...but a bit of snow today. Storm right now is blowing up off the coast of L.I. and many will get downpours of snow and wind..but south of Eastern Conn..it should be over in the next couple hours....west to east. Amounts will probably higher west to east too..with 2 in Western N.J...maybe 3..and as high as 6 east. Coming down here hard...but should be over before 6.
Sorry for the quick posts today...very good friend of mine at the age of 51 had a heart attack and is doing ok right now..bit shocked. Cape Cod and Eastern Mass will get hit very hard tonight with blizzard conditions. See you guys tomorrow.
Completely stopped here in PA. Not much in addition. Perhaps 2" tops. Got up in those gutters and discovered why I got Snow Dams. Never got the gutters cleaned out after the fall and they had quite a few leaves in them. Got the leaves out, chipped thru the ice and laid down quite a bit of salt in the gutters and the downspouts. Hit the elbows with the heat guns and watched the melt start to flow thru. I made sure the water had somewhere to drain once it got to the ground too. Now? All I need is some sunshine and warmer temps and I should be good to go into spring. BTW, did I ever tell you guys just how heavy snowblowers are? Man, what a workout out!!! Oh well, back to "Wicked Tuna".. See you guys tomorrow!
Its still snowing here in Newtown. I swear I just went out to get some food and couldn't go 3 feet in my mini van. Worst vehicle in snow of all time and there is a couple inches of icy, slushy bullshit and I am literally stuck in my house. I ate two day old Chinese left overs, the wife made an egg sangwich and I fed my girls 4 year old frozen pierogies. This place is abominable
Looks to start overnight brook..and of course..the American model has a lighter event. Breaking news. Most models do not. Now 2 important things here. 1. There actually is very good model agreement outside the American model for a 6 to 9 event from North Jersey on..to the south there MIGHT be mixing issues. 2. Trends. This was a 4 to 6 event on most models so lets see where we are tonight. Also, I am on board with people fed up with this winter but I have to give you the information. After a nice warmup through most of the weekend after this storm, models are suggesting a very strong storm for Monday Tuesday of next week..and then perhaps 1 on its heels the following weekend. So, a week from this Monday..and then 2 weeks from today. I usually would throw a few sarcastic comments to the haters but Im on board...NO MAS. This is out of control. I cant fathom even getting 6 to 9 Tuesday.
Jay ,,,,i hope your buddy is doing better,,,,same for your mom ! Keep us posted about this Monday / Tuesday storm,,,,amounts going up or down as of tonight ? We shall see And the storm you speak of next weekend shows a cold weather / snow event ?
Thanks CBG...numbers have gone down..so we are back to 3 to 6..but a small change could be more..right now it looks like we might luck out with less numbers. The Euro has trended down every run past 3...so thats good for less snow lovers. Then a warm up..and then perhaps early next week and later next week there will be 2 storms we will have to really monitor...very very closely. 24th...27th.
