another hour or so CBG..will be on all day tomorrow depending if I need to go in or not..if I go in..will be on and off...but right now..I will be on all day tomorrow after 8 am bud.

I will say this...this thing has trended back to where we thought...12 to 18 through north jersey...lower hudson valley...central western Conn at least...and Mass? I think Boston even ends up with bigger snows too. Long day tomorrow...have a great night.

Just came in from shoveling. There's about an inch on the ground, with a very light snowfall right now. In the olden days, I'd be taking this as a ski day! :grin:

Off to work. The roads don't look too bad but the towns around here don't plow so the drive home is going to be rude.
Just got on the bus. It's snowing much harder now than it was at 5 AM. Everything I shoveled down to pavement is now covered with at least 2 inches of snow. Tonight should be fun.
Right now, I'm in the lincoln Tunnel! Actually, I live in bnergen County, near the Stadium. The bus flew into the City. Traffic is very light into the Tunnel.
About 2.5 in Brooklyn with the biggest flakes I can remember....wish I was strapping a board on right now....
northern nj.and nyc..is about to enter incredible hard snows for the next 4 or 5 h ours...perhaps 6 to 9 inches fall in this period. Lower Hudson Valley about hour away...Conn hour and half.
Ch 11 talked to Diblasio off camera,,I think his statement was this is a light fluffy snow,,,,,,,,,,what a buffoon making teachers ,staff and some poor kids go out in this dangerous weather,,,NYC schools are open ? What an a hole K on topic,,,,it's starting to pick up here,,,,,,gotta try and get the dog out NOW ! Hey Jay from what you are seeing would 12 or 1 be a good time to go out for round 1 with the snow blower here in Fair Lawn Bergen County. Definitely want to get as much done before it changes to freezing rain/rain.
lol..greg..thats all Im watching...here is what I can tell you..two schools of thought. 1. you go out there and doing as soon as it turns to sleet. 2. you wait till the sleet changes to freezing rain. I dont mess around...I wait until about 10 minutes after in turns to sleet and get this stuff up..so thats around the times you mentioned..maybe an hour earlier? But understand..turns back to snow tonight with decent accums. So its a 2 fight battle. EDIT: Thought you said 1 to 2..yes..12 to 1.
