lol lovely. I hope enough of the white snow comes down by 7:30-8 AM in Morris County that I don't have to go into work at all.
nyfj...you should get your wish in morris county at that time. I really think its a no brainer at that time for any honest company to just say no.
170,000 views? Holy Shit! This is THE ALL TIME GREATEST THREAD IN TGG HISTORY! Jay, congrats man. You are now immortal in the world of TGG.com!
I defer to your expertise. Weather isn't my strong suit. The Blizzard of 88 and Charisma Carpenter are my main areas of study.

gonna break from here for a lil bit. When it starts to really dump snow, I'll take a pic and post it. Nite all.. Cman out..
I believe the hardest / heaviest snow I ever saw was in 78,,,,could not see the building across the street,,,was unreal....now back to this storm ps watching the replay of the Beatles tribute excellent
One thing some of the models have been showing is what they call a dry slot. When a storm gets so wrapped up..it has like a comma shape and the storm brings in dry air around the backside of the storm..so areas north...west..and east..are getting heavy precip..and that area has a major lull...nothing going on. That slot seems to go directly up the coast over NYC and Western L.I....through central, eastern conn. Now Im not comparing it too..but lets use a hurricane and its eye...what will happen with this storm which is rare..is when that EYE or dry slot moves over your area and it ends...it will refill back in as it pulls away. Most models if not all now are showing 3 to 4..to as much as 7 or 8 inches of snow when that occurs..even areas that went to rain...end as heavy snow.
Blizzard of 78....amazingly CBG there were two major..and I mean major snowstorms for our area within 3 weeks of each other that winter. CBG..just check out Joe Walsh in his final appearance on that tribute...holy crap..talented guy, especially since he is now clean. Happy for him.
Ok..taking a break to make sure the boys are not killing each other. Wife watching Idol before so I gave her the "oh man..what a great voice" as I walked by.
I believe those 2 storms stayed on the ground what felt like forever,,one was like 24 inches but the 18 inch storm was real windy I remember it well...I got SAT results while shoveling
Just got the text that my office is closed tomorrow. Hoping for enough for Friday too. Greedy. Good luck, everyone. Thanks, jay.
