Maybe he can give us some intel on the likes of Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry..mainly Beckham because he was their returner. Our return game leaves much to be desired

Do you have any sources on this?

Anyway, this looks like a really good hire. He has a lot of NFL experience and did well at LSU as well.

Sounds like a good hire, hopefully we can get more than our usual 15 KO returns and no yard punt returns. A freaking TD or two wouldn't go amiss.

I didn't realize Kotwica left to take the same job. What were the reasons for his departure?

If the Jets have the opportunity to take Beckham at the appropriate place in the draft and pass on him, then we'll know with some degree of certainty that he steered them away from Beckham. Hopefully, it will be the opposite. They will have keen interest any way, and he will help guide that interest over the top, leading to the Jets taking him.

Damn that dude has a big ass head!! Didn't realize we hired ET. Hopefully he can get our special teams blocking back where it should be and get some returners to phone home and score some TDs.

now we gotta actually get some real returners. I just hope he removes kerley from returning punts... seriously he gets no where or calls fair catch with nobody around him every time.. thats my boy but that shits annoying. and Kyle Wilson should never be asked to return a kick again.

I heard LSU had a top 10 college ranked ST unit all 3 years he was there. That's pretty great, but now I wish I knew more about his background, such as how passionate, how much like Westy he is, etc.

I think it's a good hire. I think Kotwica took some unnecessary chances this past year I did not agree with including that Panthers blocked punt and not having a return man in NE in an attempt to block the punt. We hardly found a replacement for McKnight in the return game and our special teams in all honesty did not get us good field position. It may have been for a lack of talent that I hope we address in the draft and FA this year. This new guy from LSU has a pretty good track record and I believe he should contribute with fresh ideas and other teams in the NFL will have to have a different game plan for him as they probably rested on what Westhoff/Kotwica's tendencies and it hurt us this past year.
