Ok so my tv crapped out,,,,,,,,and we are looking to get a led and not necessarily a smart tv. I have been doing my homework but nothing is knocking my socks off. I could go 65 inch but the 60 is more affordable. The price jump between these 2 sizes is crazy at times. I have been looking on line and likewise I have been to pc Richards, best buy,Costco, sears and a few others,,,,,,so my question is does anyone know of a good sale going on rite now, because I have been checking out tvs for 2 weeks now and prices have stayed the same,,only thing I noticed is PC Richards offers 3 years financing 0 interest . Would like to spend no more that $1200 or $1400 (less if possible) but i am not sure if that is doable,,,,,if u guys have info let me know be it a tv or sale,,,,thanks
Check this out, this site always post deals to things. http://www.spoofee.com/index.php?section=search&querystring=tv
Slow day at work today. I can do a little research for you. Questions. Brand preference? 120hz or 240hz (This impacts picture quality) How many HDMI (2 is good or do you need 4?) Why no Smart TV? This is the way to go if you think about streaming or something. For now, below TV's looks like a good deal. First one is Samsung 65" LED. 120hz though and has only 2 HDMI's. http://www.costco.com/Samsung-65"-Class-1080p-120Hz-LED-HDTV-UN65EH6000F.product.100010514.html Second one is 60" version of the above TV but much cheaper at $929 Shipping $19.99 http://www.costco.com/Samsung-60"-Class-1080p-120Hz-LED-HDTV-UN60FH6003F.product.100072525.html
Just following this page, on the plasma side of things, for a few weeks saved me $400 on the Panny I just bought: http://www.avsforum.com/f/197/lcd-flat-panel-great-found-deals
My parents just bought a new 80 inch for the living room and got it from best buy. They found it online (I forgot where) but best buy will match the lowest price you can find. Not a bad deal. Edit - I think best buy offered us a good deal on the financing as well
Nice TV. Very nice. I am glad you went with Smart option. Streaming is the future of TV and I am glad you got it. How much did you end up paying? Also is it 120hz or 240hz. At that screen size, I hope you got yourself a 240hz.
Thanks Brook,,,,,yeah went with 240 hz,,,,,,went to best buy and they matched Costco ,,it was $100 cheaper in Costco so I paid 1599,,,,,,,only thing is I did a little homework,,and talked to a buddy of mine who knows alot about this stuff. And I was not crazy about the sales guys at best buy,,,,,they really tried to force the service plan on me ( I did not take it ) and I asked the guy if I needed high speed hdmi cable from tv to direct tv receiver he said oh yes and tried to sell me $ 100 cable when I know they are anywhere from 8 dollars to his crazy price,,,,needless to say right now it is not on a high speed cable and looks great,,,maybe when we try Internet features that will change but I just felt the guy was real pushy but I knew what I wanted,,,,,,,also tv comes with a 1. Yr warranty from best buy,,not sure what exactly that covers and same tv in Costco is 2 yrs ,,,go figure,,,,,,,enjoy the game all
Enjoy your new TV. I always buy my stuff online but I will keep your Best Buy experience on my mind if I ever shop with them.
I'm usually not a big fan of service plans, but the Squaretrade one sold via Costco seems like a really good deal and a much better use of that $100: http://www.costco.com/.product.11680336.html
