I did not stop listening to Fat boy just because of the Jets. He is rude, arrogant, a no it all, never admits he's wrong, can't laugh at himself, has no sense of humor and he repeats himself 10x to make a point. And he hates my owner and coach. I can proudly say I have not heard his voice once this whole week. I am cured of the douche bag for good.
This has to be a joke? its his final show on YES, its 2 days before Super Bowl Sunday, and here he is trying to start a war between the NBA and a High School because they cant use a court.
i can understand this, i will occasionally listen for this reason but even like that it gets hard to stomach at times. i guess it depends what kind of mood i am in. it just amazes me how many people call up and tell him how much they love his show. once upon a time you could get info from him. way back in the 80s before the internet. now he is all schtick and i cant take it many days.

Hi Joe Francesca show was simulcasted on YES for more than 10 years now. Friday was his last show on YES. He is still doing the show on the radio but no TV for now until he agrees with another TV channel. On YES, Francesca always had a Coke bottle right next to his microphone. Today Michael Kay show started on YES for the first time. Do I need to explain more or no? Yes I also agree it is not a classy move but I thought it was funny.
Kay is complete garbage. Like fatty or not, ( Im in the greenbeanz camp-the entertainment value is priceless) he has DESTROYED Kay and his fat sidekick for years. he coke bottle makes Kay look like a total fool. Its embarrassing and his show is complete garbage
That show today was worse than any francesa show ive watched. The coke bottle thing was complete disrespect and a toolbag move. The fact that he did that, shows he knows he is inferior to Francesa. Why give Francesa attention if you are superior?
I think Francesa is a blowhard and a know-it-all and cuts people off way too much when they're trying to make a point. Yet with that said, he has actually grown on me over the years and I actually think he provides good entertainment value. Sometimes he pisses me off and I have to click off YES but a lot of the time I get a kick out of him and the callers. I didn't realize that Francesa's simulcast reign on YES was ending on Friday. I wish I knew as I would've watched more of it. He's been on there since pretty much the beginning of YES in '02 or '03 I believe. Kinda sucks because I really don't enjoy Michael Kay as an announcer at all. Even with the Yankees I can't stand him as he's a smug, condescending, smartass. Won't be watching YES during the day anymore.
What sucks is I listened to Francesas show today and he didnt mention any future plans. Networks these days like to have control and im not sure his show will be back on TV for a while. He originally stated weeks ago that he had potential suitors and planned on discussing it today but nothing was mentioned at all. I don't watch YES and I don't listen to Francesca. I occasionally listen to Kay on my way home from work. Is it possible Kay and Francesca are friends and this is a friendly joke or no?
Now have no reason to watch YES. It was easy to put on 631 for an hour or so after work. Now I have to pull out the radio if I want to listen to this guy at home again.
