No, it's a PR statement used to make it alllll go away. Nobody admitted ANY wrongdoing. Nobody admitted ANYTHING. Virgin took the road of the customer is always right and offered a non-apology apology and Geno accepted that Virgin took the matter seriously. The naïveté is strong with this one. Yup. Probably fired that whacky crazy flight attendant that ripped earbuds off of an innocent respectful traveler. Strong with this one. _
It will be interesting to see if Geno can stay out of the news or trouble over the rest of the off season.
Even if the story is like they are now trying to portray it, it just speaks about how immature Geno Smith is. Or at least he was being very immature here no matter which way you want to slice it.
This is correct. It's called damage control. It's chalked up as a misunderstanding so nobody has too much egg on their face, and everything is supposedly forgotten, or at least swept under the rug.
