You are out of your mind. This is the second greatest trade in the history of the franchise, only surpassed by the Bernie Nichols/Mark Messier trade.

Have to laugh at those that are outraged over the return in this trade. What exactly did DZ exhibit this season (or any of the previous couple seasons) that made him worth more than a middle-of-the-road defensive defenseman. I can understand the potential upside with DZ that Nashville is hoping for but he was barely earning his right to play on a top-six pairing with the Rangers lately.

And for a guy that was going to be allowed to walk for zero return after the season, getting back Klein, who for all indication is a reliable defensive defenseman, isn't a bad move at all.

John Moore's offensive game was stymied by Delzaster's always being out of position, Moore has a greater upside than him and made him expendable

Rangers get a steady defensive defenseman while Dallas Otto gets to further pursue his C&W singing career in Music City, USA:

Sather with some more brilliant asset management. Wait until a player loses as much value as possible and then trade him.

I'm a little baffled that he was actually able to get a useful player, tbh. Even though he won't help in AV's system at all.

AM, I was surprised also, especially after they buried him, Klein should help John Moore freewheel more

Girardi is as close to a #1 RHD as any team in the league is going to get in a trade or in free agency this season.

Your expectations are unrealistic if you thought DelZaster was going to fetch us someone better than Girardi, who is a top ten RHD in the league.

Sather got as good of a return now as he was going to get.

The mistake was waiting until DelZaster's trade value was at an all time low.

Did this moron just decide today that he wanted to trade Del Zotto? He has known for a while that he wanted to trade Del Zotto, and he picked the wrong time to trade him.

    Shit job by Sather.
