NO has said they will franchise Graham if they can't sign him.

As much as I'd like to have him.

Mike Evans, with Ebron as a backup.

Both great but I'd like to go vice versa on that one.

I'm going more on board with Matthews at 18 more-so then before.

    - On board more with Matthews then Lee, Benjamin, and Amaro. Matthews has been more productive, with less around him in a proven offense.
    - Undecided when it comes to him vs Ebron. Prob lean towards Ebron.
    - Evans I still like more, but the more I read about Matthews the more I like.

He goes about his business like a vet. He does everything extremely well, not at the elite level. His work ethic alone is something this teams needs most importantly. That type of shit is infectious in the locker room.

I think as his stock increases, the Jets indeed would need to think about Matthews 18th overall. At this pace, Matthews won't be there in the 2nd unless he totally shits the 40 time.

The one knack on Evans, is his immaturity. Talented, immature players can be deadly (RG3, Suh for example)

I'm high on Matthews myself I think he's the 4th best in this deep class. If Watkins Evans lee and ebron are all gone by 18 I think Matthews is the safe pick.. plus his stock is on the rise.

I am bit confused, are we in need of a FS or SS. I see AA referred to as both... Will he eventually be replacing Landry or Reed? I figure him to be talented enough to start at one position and think that we will address the other position early on in the draft.

I don't know much about the draft but I think any playmaker at wr or te would be extremely beneficial. From the few times I watched a&m this year, Evans always seemed to come down with the football whenever manziel threw it his way.

You still have a TV? I would have assumed you broke it last year.

We need a FS bad! Allen is a better SS. Landry is also a SS.

Reed is a FS and we will be replacing him.

Allen will replace Landry and we need to draft a FS.

Clinton-Dix is the best FS in the draft but im pretty sure he wont slide past Dallas.

I would be all for Clinton-Dix at #18 only if the following were to occur:

    1. Maclin or Decker were picked up in Free Agency.

    2. Evans/Watkins/Lee/Ebron are all gone by the time we pick.

    3. We do not get Jarius Byrd or TJ Ward in free agency.

This draft looks really deep at receiver and I feel like we could pick up a very good one or two in rounds 2-3..

Trade down and take the best of Ebron, Amaro, or ASJ then use the 2nd round (hopefully 2) to take Matthews and an Olineman.

    Id either like to take
    1 clinton dix
    2 wr
    3 troy niklas

    or
    1 ebron
    2 wr
    3 dion bailey

not sure between the two scenarios but feel that would be a good first 3 picks and then sign a great corner, asoamoah, jason worilds and another free agent wr. maybe moreno, new jersey native. definitely like the idea of ivory and him as our one two punch.

I'm fairly entrenched in the Ebron or Evans camp. This assumes Watkins is off the board. But I would take Ebron over Lee at present and hopefully grab a good WR in the second round, then safety in the 3rd or 4th. Even double dip on WR in the 2nd and 3rd round if necessary.

I'm just not so sure quality TE (which is a position of need) will be available beyond the 2nd round. So it has to be WR-1 and TE-2 or it could be TE-1 and WR-2 and/or 3.

Obviously depends on free agency as well, if we pick up a TE then getting a later round TE might not be as bad.

I think Dix is the second best safety in this draft. :)

... I also think that there is a strong possibility Dix might be available on the 18. Not saying I hope the Jets select him, but I have a feeling you guys will be hearing about another FS being ranked the e top safety choice in the draft very soon.

No reason to draft a S with the 18th pick, it won't be the BPA at that position. The FS pick should be addressed with our 3rd round or even the 2nd round pick.

    Ed Reynolds - FS (Stanford)
    Calvin Pryor - FS (Louisville)

Dix will def be available at 18, I do in a sense believe he is overrated

While I agree I don't want to spend the 18th pick on a Safety, it has to be addressed in the upper half of the draft.

Pryor is going to be a Rd 1 draft pick. Great player, one concern, the new NFL is going to tone down his game, he's the hardest hitter in this draft.

A player like Stanley Jean-Baptiste would be a solid option, he can play CB and S.
