I can't help but laugh every time I see someone accusing someone else on a message board of having an agenda. That concept seems to be migrating from JI to this board recently for whatever reason. We aren't politicians, we're Jets fans posting our opinions. When those opinions actually translate to something meaningful maybe we can start talking about agenda's. Until then, you sound like a tool when you accuse people posting on the internet about football of having an agenda.
It's an easy way to avoid having to admit you were off a bit. "Hey you have an agenda therefore your opinions don't count!" _
Anyone who is taking Smith's side on this is either stupid or as much of an ass as he is. You don't take a guys side or stick up for him just because he is your QB, and a shitty QB at that. Smith supporters remind me so much of Vick or Hernandez supports.
i'm neither, though i have giving people in service industry positions a piece of my mind before if the service wasn't up to my expectations. my position on this is quite simple, we have seen more than 1 version of this story and simple details are differing or left out of every version. from everything i read, i didn't see anything to make me think for sure that he is an asshole, immature, feels overly entitled, or anything else that has been accused in this thread. of course i am not sporting an avatar claiming he is a bust already either
It's understandable that Geno might not have heard the attendant ask him to take off the cell phone or whatever he was listening to. And hard to believe the attendant would just pull them off of any customer. They are trained in dealing with these kinds of situations and know that some people can't hear them when they ask them to shut it off. Of course there are plain jerks who ignore them. You see these kinds of people every day in all walks of life. They think they're smart and cool but they're just A-Hs. But if I'm Idzik I talk to him about this and the sexting incident.
So now you are comparing a mass murderer of dogs and alleged gang banging murderer of humans with a guy who wouldn't turn off his phone?
Lolwhut?!? I'm pretty sure he didn't say Geno reminded him of Hernandez and Vick, but maybe one of us read that wrong. _
I think you read it wrong. Sounds like hes comparing people who defend a murderer and a dog murderer the same as defending a guy who didnt turn off his phone and had a bad experience with a shitty flight attendant.
Supporters versus the folks committing the transgressions, that's what he said. Lol at the "shitty flight attendant" though. _
This post prompts me to remember what a wise man on this forum once said: "I wish we could cut fans."
Interesting observation! Interesting response! http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=2930481&postcount=28 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=2927546&postcount=249 http://forums.theganggreen.com/showpost.php?p=2916564&postcount=22 If you really want to see overuse of the term "agenda" take a look in any draft thread involving QB's. According to this guy, anyone who has reservations about a 1st round QB has an "agenda." But, according to himself, he only says it because it's an easy way to avoid having to admit he's off a bit.
Hey look, a creepy Internet stalker! I can't believe you spent more than 30 seconds of your life looking up my posts. Pretty sad. _
Hey look, a guy who doesn't like to be held accountable for the things he says! I can't believe it took more than 30 seconds for someone to call you out on your nonsense.
nah hes right, every post i see you make is anti-geno... if it were up to you Ryan Nassib wouldve been our QB this year
Held accountable for things said on the Internet? Lol. Still can't believe you spent a second looking up my old posts. Kinda creepy. _
Are you serious? Go hire that other guy stalking me and ask him to research my posts on Nassib. Loved him for what he did for my team, but he is not going to be a good NFL QB. Geno is a much much better QB. _
