That Melo assists stat is interesting where we are 11-2 when Melo has 4+ assists. But announcers take it to mean that Melo needs to pass the ball more. It's not that just that. We also win when Melo has 4+ assists because it means people are making open 3s or open jumpers.
Yep. The NBA loves to lie about when the games start for whatever reason. It's just pathetic when the primetime games are regularly starting 10-20 minutes after the stated start time. JR into the game.
KMART headed to the locker room. Refs doing a poor job. Amare just got blocked on a foul because Ian Mahimi stuck his hand through the hoop to block Amare. Refs don't call goaltending. Pretty obvious one too
yeah both announcers were amazed they missed the goaltending hard to miss that if the refs were watching the play
Oh look at this Woodson, Amare cannot guard Roy Hibbert. Who would have thought that? If Tyson is out, Bargs needs to be on Hibbert. That's how bad the Knicks front court is.(also since Woodson will never play Cole) The other strategy is instead of beating IND at their own game (going big), is to you know beat IND by going small.
* On the verge of getting blown out. Wait for the 3rd Q. I'm expecting to be down by 25 by the end of it
For a team like the Knicks I agree. But if the Pacers, Spurs, Heat or any top team were down by double digits at half like 12 or 15 I would disagree. They actually have the capability to play tight defense and hit important shots to make a comeback
Well I'm talking about tonight they never had much of a chance to win to begin with and on the road against the best defense in the NBA...
Amare down, in pain. His left foot landed on Hibberts foot while driving to the hoop. Amare went to the ground and stayed there
Amare came in to collect his two free throws. Knicks foul intentionally and Amare went straight to the locker room
always interesting when the scrubs get their minutes. Woodson now considers JR to be a scrub. 1:51 Cole Aldrich offensive rebound 83-113 1:47 Toure' Murry misses 5-foot jumper 83-113 1:46 83-113 Ian Mahinmi defensive rebound 1:31 83-113 Cole Aldrich blocks Ian Mahinmi's shot 1:29 Jeremy Tyler defensive rebound 83-113 1:23 J.R. Partially yeah. Cole, Tyler, Toure, and two spots have to be taken. Amare and KMART were gone. MWP and Pablo hurt. Melo, Chandler, Bargs, Shump aren't going to see time. So I'm guessing that leaves THJ, JR, and Beno to choose from. Beno's coming off an injured knee.
Houston's elite offense disappeared tonight in the second half. They led 73-59 and then scored 9 points in the third and 10 points in the fourth. I don't even know how that's possible considering what they've done this season. Needless to say, 19 second half points was not good enough. They also set an NBA record for largest differential between team points in the first and second halves. 54!
