Anyone watch his show dismorning? It was basically an excuse-fest for Luck. "Luck made so many mistakes because he knew he had to make plays or else they would lose....." He has praised Luck since day one, but honestly Luck just played like crap, Fatcessa couldnt admit that though because all the praise he gave him all season would look stupid if he admitted that Luck played miserably.
Basically the same thing as his Eli Manning defense. When a QB he doesn't like turns it over he's careless with the football, when a QB he does like turns it over he's trying to make plays, not taking the dump off like most guys would.

Francessa is litteraly the only guy in the media who is defend Alex. Francessa brings up STRONG points but he is the only one bringing up these points.
Regardless of what Francesa is saying to defend Arod, it's a moot point. Everyone already knows he's a fraud and he's already been convicted in the court of public opinion.
A few callers later, and now he's the one with the assault on Baseball. How many more times can he mention how Baseball is dealing with "someone who sells drugs to children"? He keeps repeating that about Bosch.
The points are that the investigation on Arod is a complete witch hunt. Its totally ridiculous that he gets 4 times the suspension as others, MLB paying money to drug dealers for evidence which is weak to begin with. Its a total sham.
Meh. I'm of the philosophy that if they're trying to solve a dirty problem, then they gotta get dirty, too, if necessary. The reason they're dealing with Bosch in the first place is because of Arod. If you want to complain that Arod is being unfairly singled out? Fine. But that comes with the territory of being the best player in the sport who's on the verge of breaking all-time records.
i find it hard to believe that bosch is the mastermind of this drug empire that can effortlessly beat the best tests baseball can come up with. the guy looks and acts like a south beach gigolo that makes his money fleecing widows out of their pension checks. best call of the day so far was that guy screaming about ortiz with a "head the size of a mardi gras float"
I can see some of that argument but baseball is going way above and beyond here singling out one player. That's the problem I have. Meanwhile big papi is being celebrated. Meh
This and they have yet to show ANY evidence that Arod deserved a suspension that is any worse than anyone else.
Classic Francesa. Mistake-prone QBs get a pass from him if he thinks they are elevating the team or playing on a bad team and "forced to make plays." Luck is the better prospect, but he does have a fair amount of Eli in him with the reckless throws and turnovers. Maybe that's why Francesa has such a hard-on for the kid.
yup. unlike Braun, who failed a test, covered it up, cost someone his job and then only got a 1/4 of what Arod got. its complete lunacy
