    Woodson is a dumb monkey

Can't bring himself to play young guys with talent (like Crawford & Hardaway Jr.) and instead keeps putting JR out there no matter how many consecutive games he's been costing them.

But thanks to a dumber monkey Jim Dolan, quality high IQ coaches like Doc Rivers would never consider the Knicks

The Knicks cant be serious if they want to trade Carmelo for Blake Griffin. I know they want to get something in return but they would be better off getting as many draft picks as possible. Griffins younger, but you will have to pay him, and it will leave you in mediocrity because Blake is not a guy that can be a piece of a championship because his 16 million is to much.

No way Dolan sends Melo off. It means the move failed and he's admitting it. He'd rather watch Melo walk.

Keys to a Knicks win tonight:

Mike Woodson forgets there is a game tonight
JR Smith forgets there is a game tonight
Lebron forgets there is a game tonight

The reason to get Griffin would be in Dolan's mind that we would have a mediocre year (maybe better since the East is bad) with Griffin next year and then in 2015 have a star in Griffin to pair with a Love, Rondo, etc who are entering FA.

I'd absolutely trade 'Melo for Griffin. Blake isn't cheap, but at least with him you know he's a #2 and needs a guy to be the #1. 'Melo is the type of player that has to be THE man, but isn't good enough to be that guy on a championship team.

yes, like that graphic about Miami's key to victory is LeBron boarding the team bus

As always, Wade may or may not play.

Melo's a tweener like CP3, Deron, Dirk, etc have been in their careers. They aren't dominating the game like a Lebron (few can) but they aren't a clear second fiddle like Pierce. (had to take a shot at him )

Haha yes I knew I read something similar to what I was writing, I just couldn't remember from where

I think Chalmers is out, which really doesn't make a difference against us.

Guess Woodson means business. Heat playing Lebron at the 4 and we don't matchup by putting Melo at the 4. Interesting, I guess he thinks KMARt on Bosh and Bargs chasing Lewis around the 3 point line? Or maybe vice versa. This is the exact problem the Knicks would put teams in last year when they put Melo at the 4 and the other team had a "traditional 4", the cross match ups.

I guess defensively, the heat will put Lewis on KMART if they can since KMART is not an offensive threat and then put Bosh on Bargs. Although it might be Lebron on Kmart and put Lewis on Melo since whenever I watch the Heat they usually save Lebron til the end then put him on the superstar. Cole on Felton and Wade on Shumper makes tradition sense.

Correction on that last tweet: #Knicks coach Mike Woodson expects Carmelo Anthony or Kenyon Martin to start out guarding LeBron James.

Interesting. If it's KMART, maybe he can play that sneaky Brandon Bass D. Big enough to limit Lebron and quick enough to keep up with him.

they always start the first game 15 minutes late, which means it runs into the second game

    never fails

if you're going to start a doubleheader at 8 PM, then have the first game start at 8 PM, not 8:18

Oh the "give them open jumper strategy" doesn't work when you are playing the Heat. What a surprise

Oh good plan by Woodson putting Bargnani on Lebron for the last second play.

JR Smith step on the court in the 1st Q

    Good catch!

Who would have though, Lebron goes to the bench, the Knicks play better

Hitting open 3s is usually a good strategy.
