Dee ended the season with major improvements. Last two games he had 10 pass defensed and 3 Interceptions. Def showed promise at the end of the year, he's gonna be a good corner in time.
Yep. I still expect some struggles next year, but definitely not as many as this year. Definitely see him playing much more better and consistent next year.
I guess the key was to stick him on the other team's best receiver. He must have been getting bored and losing focus covering scrubs. Milliner Island. No scrubs allowed.
these things will take time... so long as theres signs of progress (or conversely, signs of continued quality) its fine for a rookie to struggle. lets see how he handles the offseason... gonna be a long time till even spring practices, damn...
This dude sounds like a sox fan. He has all the ridicule down "pat" from years of being trashed by all the Yankees fans!!! Haha
Considering we were the first AFL team after the merger to beat a dominant NFL team in the superbowl we would be right in the beginning of the history books you fucking tool, see you next year after your team is one and done.
To be clear I am not certain that Milliner will make it, and there is some merit to the notion that the Jets did not face any fearsome passing attacks in the last quarter of the season. But like most people who actually watched him play, he was getting better. And htat is a positive. Hopefully he stays healthy, makes use of a good camp and pre-season, and locks down the Cb position next season.
Maybe Milliner can school Wilson on the art of turning your head around now... (scary thought: two credible CB's not named Revis,Cromartie.)
Nice bit from Reed on Dee here http://www.newyorkjets.com/videos/v...eat_Year/980430d4-be6e-4eba-b483-de8abd8dc380
Not many CB's goes takes the NFL-level right away. With the improvement Milliner was showing in the last couple of games, where do you guys see his ceiling?
There's no way to know at this point. He certainly has excellent tools and that's a major factor in becoming a great player. His ability to take those tools and adapt to the NFL and respond to the coaching he'll receive in the process is all on him.
Wilson was easily our best DB this year. Easily. He is actually very good in the slot and gets zero credit.
I agree 100% but that still doesnt change the fact he's not good at turning his head around. He definitely had a good season and I expect us to resign him.
True. Agreed. That is a problem for him and I don't like him as an outside corner. Very good slot guy IMO though.
