Re-sign/Extend Wilkerson (6 Years) Cumberland (3 Years) Howard(Moving to RG) (4 Years) Folk (3 Years) Kerley (4 Years) 1. Sign Emmanuel Sanders & Eric Decker for WR (Decker/Sanders/Kerley/Hill/Nelson) 2.Sign Jason Worilds 3.Sign Eugene Monroe for RT Draft First 3 picks: 1. Austin Sefarian Jenkins TE Washington- Freakish size to go along w/ some very graceful body control..and he can block 2. Dri Archer, RB Kent State- Really dynamic player who would fill the void as a returner & as a playmaker on offense. Lethal speed. 3.Tre Boston, Safety UNC- Just a no nonsense centerfielder w/ alot of range & pretty good size to boot 6'1 205. The perfect compliment to Antonio Allen
For first round TE's I'd prefer Jace Amaro, he is technically very sound and will come in polished. He is a very solid blocker which will really make him valuable to a team like us that pounds the ball to take pressure off a young QB, plus he is a legit deep threat with his speed and size 6'5" and he'd be a much better cap hit than Graham.
1. Idzik trades up to get Johnny Football 2. sign RB Ben Tate 3. Trade Geno and Cro and 3rd round to 49er's for Michael Iupati and Navarro Bowman 4. Sign WR Anquan Boldin for veteran/locker room leadership 5. Sign TE Dennis Pitta 6. Draft WR Mike Evans from Texas 7. Cut WR Holmes and QB Sanchez 8. Sign QB Michael Vick to back up Johnny Football 9. Extend Mo Wilk and Kerley 10. Sign S Jarius Byrd and S Ed Reed for veteran leadership. I have many more but this is my top 10. This is only a dream, repeat, this is only a dream.
I hope Idzik makes some good low key signings and we have a good draft. Extensions: Muhammad Wilkerson (6 yrs) Jeremy Kerley (3 yrs) Nick Folk (2 yrs) Restructure: David Harris Antonio Cromartie Cut: Santonio Holmes Mark Sanchez Dawan Landry Free Agency: Jeremy Maclin (1 yr)-make him earn his next contract Jason Worilds (4 yrs)- he and Antwan Barnes could be deadly in a rotation Draft: 1st Round- TE Eric Ebron, North Carolina 2nd Round- WR Allen Robinson, Penn State 3rd Round- QB Tajh Boyd, Clemson After the 3rd Round, it's a crapshoot. I don't feel comfortable projecting anything after that. Hell, Antonio Allen fell to the seventh round a couple of years ago. I'd also like to resign Austin Howard. He's a very solid RT.
My dream offseason would be: -Sign Ben Tate, Julian Edelman, Branden Albert -Draft Amaro, Benjamin, LaMarcus Joyner, Michael Sam, Mettenberger or McCarron in Rd 4 -Cut Sanchez, Holmes, Cromartie
Resign: Mo Folk Kerley Howard Colon Reed (1 YR) Cut: Marky Mark Tone Cro Landry FA: WR Nicks S Byrd OLB Orakpo TE Pitta Draft: Trade up for Sammy The MadMan Watkins DeAnthony Thomas OLB, LG, QB, OHHHHH THE IDEA'S FUNNNNNN!! *DRake VOice*
DREAM Cuts: Mark Sanchez Santonio Holmes Antonio Cromartie Re-Sign: None, if it's a dream, I'd like to clean house Restructure: David Harris Extend: Mo FA Signings: Jon Asamoah, OG Jason Worrilds, OLB Kendrick Lewis, FS T.J. Ward, SS Dennis Pitta, TE Jeremy Maclin, WR Eugene Monroe, RT Shaun Hill, QB Realistically, I think we'll probably be lucky to add a QB, Maclin, Pitta, and maybe Allen or some cheaper young vets. Draftees: I'd love to add Teddy Bridgewater or Sammy Watkins, but that's not gonna happen. Seriously, I'd love to come out of the draft with 2 WRs, a TE, a QB, a 3rd down RB, a FS, an OLB, and ILB, an OG, a SS and a P. There are a number of players I'd love for the Jets to add: Sammy Watkins, Marqise Lee, Mike Evans, Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Brandin Cooks, Allen Robinson, Davante Adams, Dri Archer, Eric Ebron, Jace Amaro, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, CJ Fiedorowicz, Calvin Pryor, Hakim Smith, and/or Tre Boston.
Be more realistic. Byrd wants to be the highest paid safety and Orakpo will be looking for 10+ mil a year.
Cut Holmes Sanchez Goodson Resign Wilk Kerley Howard Sign Golden Tate Jarius Byrd Brian Orakpo Hakeem Nicks Draft Jace Amora You did say dream right?
On defense. Safeties: Adding a high priced safety makes little sense. They are developing some younger talent back there in Allen, maybe Jarrett and Rontez Miles has spent a season on the practice squad. Landry is nothing special but he's smart and serviceable with a team friendly contract. If Reed is healthy and wants to come back you've got a vet presence back there. Add a mid to late round draft pick or second tier free agent to compete at this position Corners: Keep Cro after restructuring. Add a mid to late round pick or second tier free agent. LB's: This is the only position to spend some money on the defense. Need more speed, playmakers and depth. Cut/restructure Harris. Extend him 1-2 years to get his cap number down by around 2-3 MIL per year. Guarantee him 3MIL in 2015 if needed to do this. By that time you will have to decide on re-upping Davis or not. Bring back Pace at a slight raise after the year he had. You can target an OLB in free agency like Worilds or Orapko. Cost will be 7-8 MIL per year against the cap ro Worilds probably more for Orapko. Bring in a draft pick. D Line: Pretty much set. No urgent need to draft or bring in a free agent. Offensively: WR's: Need a top level FA and/or a premium draft pick spent here. Preferrably both. Keep Nelson and Kerley. Let Hill, Salas and any others compete for the 4, 5 and 6 slots. TE's : Pitta would be the FA target here as Graham is a pipe dream. Keep Sudfeld, maybe Cumberland depending on asking price. Dump Rueland. Spend a premium pick at this spot. RB: Need another one especially if Goodson is truly finished. Preferrably a burner. You can find good serviceable backs in the mid to late rounds. Not a huge priority as Powell and Ivory can hold the spot down well. OL: Mid to late round pick or low cost plug and play FA similar to the Colon signing last year. We might have some decent depth here as Aboushi, Campbell, Ijalana and Freeman had redshirt years. QB's : Simms comes to camp to compete for the #3. No Garrard or Sanchez. McCarron, Mettenberger or Boyd in Round 3 is the spot to address this position. If you can't get one of these kids then a Schaub, McCown, Hill type signing.
Cut: Holmes, Cro, Sanchez, Harris, Landry, Goodson Extend: Wilk Resign: Folk, douzable, walls, trufant, sudfeld Sign: Asoamoah, Maclin, Sanders, Verner, Donald Butler, Worilds, Jermaine Gresham(likely candidate to be cut), Monroe 1- Clinton Dix(FS) 2- Jordan Matthews/ Davante Adams/ Allen Robinson(WR) 3- Craig loston/ Deone buchanan(SS) 3b- Tre mason/ Bishop Sankey/ Ka'deem Carey(RB) 4- Denzel Perryman/ Yawin Smallwood(ILB) 4b- Aaron Colvin(CB) 5- Deanthony Thomas(OW) 6- Boseko Lokombo(OLB) 6b- Colt Lyerla(TE) 7- Kirby Van Der Camp(P) 7b- Keith Price/ Stephen morris(QB) This is done with expected comp picks and a spitballing of how much cap we would have after cuts.

a dream that lacks clarity obviously, I'm not sure how we draft an Aggie from USC of all places.
Dream off season? The Jets pull of the trade of the century, landing both Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham. No other moves needed.
