Balt SOS 0.467 Pitt SOS 0.484 Jets SOS 0.489 That was before all the games today, the Jets will be picking 17 if Dallas wins and 18 if they lose.
I believe the Ravens and Steelers are ahead of us because pick tiebreakers go Strength of Schedule instead of Head to Head, which means the Jets get screwed. I think theyll have the 17th pick.
I think Dallas jumps ahead of the Jets if they win today. You want a Dallas win to move up a spot. Either way that sucks to pick that high despite not being over .500
before the cowboys result confirms it, the jets are apparently picking 15th if NFL.com's league standings are any indication. no sure on the tie breaking scenarios though.
Which is a stupid tiebreaker scenario to begin with. You should not reward the team who beat the other team the higher spot in the draft.
Definitely an iffy spot to be in. 17 or 18 should put us in that range where the tight ends (Amaro/Ebron) should be going.
I believe draft order doesn't take into count head-to-head wins/losses, but strength of schedule instead.
Exactly. Its clear the Steelers and Ravens were a better team than us but apparently thats not the case.
I think Amaro's concussion history could have him freefall. I think Ebron might seriously be the guy if we don't trade down/up. Him or Lee.
FINALLY, our most pressing need! I mean damn we've resorted to using one of our running backs as a D linemen! really? ugh.... the ravens being ahead especially screws us.
I just don't get why the playoff tiebreaker and draft tiebreaker have such contrasting principles. The playoff tiebreaker makes complete sense and the draft one should follow suit.
I honestly see Dequan Dennard as a target for the Jets 1st round pick, and watch Jordan Matthews slip to round 2 then we pick him. I will be happy with that
Id love to have Matthews, but I see him getting a lot of offseason draft hype, meaning he'll be a back end of the first guy or at worst (for him) a high second round pick.
