I liked what I've seen the past 4 weeks. Nice improvement. Let's see a healthy of season and hopefully more progress next year.

The guys who want Milliner to suck are the same guys who want us to lose so we could get a higher pick... Idk why though cause they also think that we would screw up the pick

That's where people get me wrong, I want Milliner to not only succeed, but to be GREAT.

HOWEVER, he had a good game today but alot of it was due to luck and you cannot dispute it.

He got absolutely toasted but Tannehill overthrew him (Like true Dolphin fashion.)

Then he got away with a disgusting pass interference on Wallace in the endzone, which the very next play he only got a pick because Wallace fell down.

Then his last pick was an absolute garbage throw and he just happened to be there.

Nothing good that happened was a direct result of Milliners play.

He needs to be a million times better, and the way people are talking him up they act like he's not the same player he has been for weeks. Still needs TONS and TONS of work.

nobody is perfect! exactly… I've seen our lord and savior "Revis Christ" get pooped on different occasions.. ESPECIALLY as a rookie.. if we should be bashing anybody its CROMARTIE who knows better.. i only seen him make about 3 good plays this year.. one today was today, even his INT earlier this year was bogus because he was in the wrong place at the right time smh!! the way Milliner ended the season it might be safe to say he was our best corner this year! lol sad but true

That just feels like you want to hate on him.

He had at least two players where his close coverage caused a non completion. One of them he hit wallace slightly before the ball arrived but even the television crew felt that you have to give that to the DB as they have a hard enough job covering anyway.

Its true his last pick was an overthrow but had Wallace caught it he would have been there to hit him. The first interception he did amazingly well to adjust his body to even intercept it.

The guy has been getting picked on by offences all season and he has come back better for it.

he is not the finished article but for the end of his first year on a pretty bad Secondary i see signs of improvement that i never saw in Wilson and so i have hope. You do not list any of the incompletions due to his coverage and he had quite a few. Surely that is down to his good play?

I dont want him to suck. Just responding to someone. Props to him though. Im shocked by the progress. He looked completely lost 80% of the year and has really looked better these last 3-4 weeks. If he would be an average CB at the minimum, it would tremendously help the franchise for the coming years.

The amount of hate this kid got was insane...he was really thrown into the fire in a scheme where playing man to man with little to no over the help from the safety...it's very very hard to play at a high level.

He's adjusted and you can't say anything, he more than held his own against the top WR's in the league. He really made Josh Gordon ineffective with no big plays and had a pick and held Wallace in check. They found something that worked for him...he plays off coverage but his closing speed is insane and he can cover at least 99% of the NFL, because he has the speed to do so. I'm sure over the offseason he will improve but we have the makings of a very good cover corner.

I think he has shown amazing progress the last 4 to 6 weeks..even getting burnt...which..now this is important...even being a rookie.

Listen, nobody expected him to come in and even be very good. He was as horrible a DB as I have seen play for this team all of the years I have followed this team.

An argument could be made that if that position was just solid all year..his position, the Jets could be a playoff team right now. Before everyone goes ballistic with that statement, just think about the games he has been burnt.

With this team...THIS team...would I throw away a one and out playoffs to develop players? Hell yes...and I cant believe Im saying that...but its true. I would rather develop the young kids looking back now at the season.

He has really shown a ball hawk mentality...and Im sure over time he will stop not seeing the ball because his break ups today will not work 17 weeks a season...but he is a rookie..and I love the development.

Im curious Brad...in your post...and I plead guilty to not being on the Jet side as much as I should...but exactly what are you talking about in your post concerning all the negativity.

Im curious because not a soul can say that this particular DB didnt cost the teams games. Watching other rookie cbs, I dare to say I have seen many at least play average...he was horrible.

The other position is the qb position. The guy was top 2in the league in turnovers. Arguments could be made about the HC and his decisions.

Im not agreeing with all of the above...but Im curious about some posters concerns this year about the negative comments concerning a team that just missed the playoffs for the 3rd straight year.

10 PD and 3int in the last two games, against two of the most dynamic receivers in the NFL

    Well done Dee.

I'm excited to see his progress next year.

You're truly a comedic genius. Could you possibly make yourself into the butt of any more jokes unintentionally? Better hope the store manager doesn't read this thread, termination for incompetence is looking more and more likely.

Umm English first please, secondly, playing semi-well for the last 2 games of a 16 game season is Not impressive. Both The genome & milliner would receive a grade no higher than a "D".
