He is a game manager at best. Looks receivers down, cannot diagnose defenses, and makes bad decisions. They need talent, but he is very rough. If we stick with him next year with a revamped team, we are going to be in for a long year. Need a competent vet to challenge for a starting spot. If he gets the Sanchez treatment ( keeps job no matter what ) there is going to be a revolt

Sure as hell feels that way.... I didn't think our QB play can get any worse than last year but damn man I'd take Sanchez now in a heartbeat

He's got 9 TDs thrown to his own team and 5 TDs thrown to the other team this season. Please get him off the field.

This guy isn't the answer. He still plays like he is in his first NFL game at the end of his rookie year. He has made NO progress at all. Time to get someone like Kirk Cousins who you know can move the ball.

Geno has been fine today, he just gets no help at all...This is a bad set of players on offense...He has made poor decisions but I cant fully blame him for today's effort

Hard to be a good QB when there's no one to throw to.

The effort was there for sure. However, missing open receivers for TDs and throwing it out of bounds instead, having no awareness at sensing a blitz and throwing to a hot read, still constantly staring down receivers and not going through his reads, he audibles into 8 man fronts with running plays way too often is still a common trend with him. Yes yes, i know hes a rookie but there is literally no improvement from week 1 until now. He actually looked better at the start of the year but i think most of us expected some small steps but they havent been there. He has had a decent running game too so he does get some help in that department. Too bad his receivers are probably the worst in all of football.

Still not sold on Geno but he did a lot better than I thought he would this week.

With that being said Santonio Holmes did not do him any favors (really can't wait until he is gone).

that pick 6 was BAD, but otherwise it was a decent outing. he needs to be more decisive with his decisions to run or pass, might have saved the jets from that awful blocked punt.

I still want to afford him a year's development, we need to go WR this draft.

oh god no, no one else from Alabama. McCarron is a product of the system in my opinion.

Geno wasnt solely to blame but he takes his share no doubt. The defense has been a dissapointment since the bye. In literally all areas....

Fo real, dude couldn't catch a cold out there.

Its fair not to be sold on him long term, but theres still something to him... dude seemed to have a better command of the offense at least.

    Jets, Jets

It is the job of the GM and coaching staff to figure out if Geno can be better with more weapons and experience. They have had a chance to evaluate. Now it's on them to make the call. We don't see the films and its really hard to do it on TV. This will be Idzik's biggest decision. Picking a new coach or an old one is easy compared to this.

Besides the pick he was decent. And this is me grading him on a rookie curve.
